Decided to go for Theology and Religious Studies, I've been doing research on what you can do with a theology major, and its everything I want, including none-profit organization, visiting sick, consultant, or religious teacher, academic or as a hebrew school teacher. I was looking stuff up tho and realized most Theology courses highlight christianity as part of their curriculum, which I don't exactly like. Any opinions? or help.

Theology course at Ben Gurion university? I'm sure they don't concentrate on Christianity. xp

wasnt planning on going to israel but now that i think about it i may, if not the netherlands.

I have a friend who used to work at Yeshiva University in New York, and her three children went there as well. It's a great education. There's also Israel, with its plethora of universities. Or you could specifically seek out a school that has a Judaic Studies major, instead of simply "theology," which tends to be Christianity-dominated in most Western countries.

Unfortunately, Christianity is one of those "Major" religions, it's a force to be reckoned with, you'll have a lot of contact with it, whether you want to or not.
Going into theology while ignoring christian theology is like going into internal medicine but ignoring the large intestine because you don't like to think about where poop is made.
It can't be done.
And now... theology school.
If you're going for being a rabbi, go to rabbi school
If you're trying to be a civic leader who tries to teach people or some sort of community organizer, who spends his time tutoring students and making the streets safe to walk at night... get a degree in social work or education and then go to grad school to become a proper theologian.
