If he was a rapist,do you really think he would admit to following her,hell no.If he was,he'd try to put as much disclosure on the subject as possible,avoiding any heat that can be placed on him through facts.He admitted to it,because he felt guilty for following her.If he was a rapist,he wouldn't have a conscience where he'd admit to following her.

Rapists are often sneaky, clever. And if they aren't either of those, then they are controlling. Or easy to anger.

This boy, runs from empty threats. He's not controlling, and he admitted to following her, so he's not sneaky.
