Recently (as in a few months ago) I've discovered that Mence is almost as beastly as Chomp. I'd kinda like to see it banned, myself.

Yes. In comparison Garchomp loses 1/16th. And Garchomp's speed (2 base is important when you get to outrun all the base 100s). And Garchomp's slightly higher bulk. And Garchomp's access to swords dance. And access to novelty sets like the bulky stealth rocks set. Oh and the fact that he has STABed ground. And a better resistance/immunity layout.
There's other points too, but I'll hold off for now.
