ok this forum is gonna be to discuss Holidays. There are eight commonly held pagan holidays that are associated with the Sun.
Ostara (March 19-22) - a.k.a Vernal Equinox Beltane (May 1) - a.k.a May Day Midsummer (June 19-23) - a.k.a Litha Lammas (August 1-2) - a.k.a Lughnasadh Mabon (September 21-24) - a.k.a Autumnal Equinox Samhain (November 1) - a.k.a All Hallows Eve Yule (December 1-23) - a.k.a Midwinter Imbolc (February 2) - a.k.a Candlemas
They do have other names. There is one thread for each of these holidays. What i want is people to post how they feel about them, what kinds of magick are good for each, recipes, crafts, ritual, activities etc. Just have fun talking about them.
I also moved the discussion of the Moon's energy here since according to some paths the Full and new moons are also holidays known as esbats.(the sun holidays are sabbats).
