I got rid of my membership a few weeks ago, and now they updated castle wars...
For people who don't know me that well I've spent way too much time at castle wars sweatdrop
They rewards actually don't look too interesting, but it could make playing castle wars a little more fun, and I have a reason to be more competitive since I usually just screw around while playing castle wars.
What are your guy's thoughts? 3nodding

I'm glad they actually made the rewards worth it now rather than just for decoration. Sorta tempted to spend a shitload of time playing just for one of the halos (they look pretty sexy).
Seems like Castle Wars will get popular again. I remember when it was released smile

The rewards look nice; I would save up for at least one of them...if I thought playing Castle Wars was worth it. sweatdrop I don't like spending 20 minutes and then we lose and I get nothing except some ranged XP from defending the battlements. If it was like Soul Wars, where you get a consolation point for losing but more if your team wins, then I'd play more. Why not add the no-loafing activity timer to Castle Wars?
I mean, I've played some Castle Wars before, for the mounted armour set in my house, and the Ardougne diary, but not many "just because" matches.

Its good they finally updated it! The same rewards every time were boring, the armor is cool and all, but I dont want that to always be my goal. maybe I will play more now. :]

I like way the rewards look..i've tried to get 200 tickets for guthix halo but it sucks to spend 20mins and get nothing

Well there's already a timer in the spawn area, if you don't move within two minutes you get kicked from the game. I think that's enough to get rid of the people just trying to leech. Since there aren't many spots where another person can't find you and kill you.

About time they gave Castle Wars some new rewards but I still probably wont bother with it cause its just too annoying to play with half the people running around with ancients. I used to love to play back in the day when there was only one or two people per team with it. Plus as people have already said if you lose you get crap for wasteing 20 minutes of your life.
