Zen runs into the empty church and falls to his knees in front of the Cross, panting harshly.
"Oh God..." He thinks. "...Why am I feeling so bad...for my attack on Shaye!!"
He looks up at the cross.
"Every single time I hurt her," He says in a dark voice, but some regret and a hint of desperation. "I was hurting myself as well..."
He grabs his chest where his heart is.
"I have to do something now..." He says, pulling hiself up and looking around as if in panic, then runs out the back door of the church and chants a spell, vanishing in his footsteps.
