This is the longest chase scene ever.
Anyways, let's see...
We got a botched exploration mission where a search for new discoveries turned into a hostile 1st contact with pissed off apes, we got a droid with hindered progress and a guy wounded/drugged.
Compared to the Enterprise, we're actually doing pretty good.

My mistake, I'd assumed we were waiting for the ship to come to us, and not the other way around.

I'm kinda useless in the current situation, other than being Rek's temporary crutch, assuming he still needs help after that quick medical shot.

Because the shallows near the shore are too shallow for the way the ship is designed.
