Okay. I was thinking about it. And maybe summer deflation is something of the past. Now maybe its going to be summer INFLATION. This is my logic. I see a lot of people have hoards over the winter and school year to earn a little gold. Then they dump it all over the summer. But at the amount of gold in the marketplace. Maybe all that is being dumped will be consumed by people. And since people have off of school lots of ACTIVE members will be doing 1 of 2 things. Or maybe even both. They will: 1. Vend a lot to gain more gold. The natural thing. Or 2. Booty grab a lot to gain more gold. Maybe even both So my point is. The amount of gold that is in circulation now plus the amount that will be gained over summer will give a negative effect on certain products. Thus making it inflate.
tl:dr:: I believe summer deflation will change to summer inflation

The summer deflation issue is a very debated topic, you're going to get a lot of deferring opinions and reasons supporting both sides. To me the evidence is more supporting of an inflation.
My opinion on the matter is that there will be an inflation mainly due to RIGs, zOMG and BG --bg being arguably the biggest contributor. These three things are the main contributors of gold being pumped into the system. The main issue will be that there is so much gold that will be pumped into the system that the value of gold itself is going to decline. More gold in the system means that people can demand higher amounts of gold for their items.
Some people will point out that we had BG last year but the problem with that statement is that BG didn't have the amount of time between then and it's release and now and it's release to pump the amount of gold that is currently in the system. I remember predicting in forums that BG would take 1.5-2years for enough gold to be pumped into the system for it to start to seriously affect the marketplace. Here we are towards the end of that time frame and as it stands inflation is out of control.
The ONLY way that I can see a deflation happening as of right now is if Sagger decides to implement some kind of gold sink.
Only time will tell what the MP is really going to do but this is how I see things going.
