Shikai Ability/ Attacks: Once shikai is activated the entire blade breaks apart into a tousand smaller blades (similar to Byakuyas). These smaller blades are dark purple and are a combination or Shinrei's spirit energy in combine with Risantakai and are a dark purple. The smaller blades are controlled by Shinrei's mind but are able to move faster if his hands are used. Though the blade is broken into smaller one he is still able to recall them back instantly to form a brand new blade.
Shinrei uses his shikai in a multitude of ways. The way he uses it most is to coat his forearms and feet in the smaller blades to amplify his hakuda and shunko capabilities.
The next two ways are simple. He can use the smaller blades as a shield to block incoming attacks or for them to help take the blow lessening the damage to himself. The next is just to use the smaller blades to attack from a distance this helps on recon missions.
The last ability or attack only works if the blade is whole, Shinrei is able to release a blast of condensed spirit energy from the blade. The spirit energy fired is dark purple with a black trim.

Bankai Appearance: No Change From Shikai
Bankai Ability/ Attacks: Bankai retains the same attacks and abilities from the shikai release but gains a couple new abitlies. Besides saying bankai Shinrei lets go of his sword and lets it drop into the ground.
Senkei- Four rows of blades form around Shinrei and his enemies preventing them from escaping and others from entering. The four rows of blades rotate in the opposite direction from each other. Inside this circle of blades Shinrei can call upon his blades as he needs them while his target(s) are distracted by not knowing if the blades will be acting on their own or just in Shinrei's hands. As a last resort he can have all of the blades implode on his opponent sending all of the sword rushing at them.
This ability can be used a shield at times for a large amount of people.
Kouki Zetsumei (Final Death)- By concentrating all of his sword into one Shinrei creates a sword of pure destructive power. The blades glows dark purple as it sparks with small lightning bolts from the immense of spirit energy it contains.

Bio/ History:
Biography Before Death: Shinrei was just a normal average person belonging to a normal family. He didnt like to cause trouble or alot of attention. But his natural born abilities denied him this, he was very smart and talented in Kendo and martial arts. This cause people to pick fights with him, though most of the time he would just let them beat him up sometimes he would have to defend himself.
He figured this was just the life he was meant to have and he would make the best of it. His mother died when he was in his late teens. Shinrei's father took this very hard and started to drink alot. At this time Shinrei had to drop out of school even though he being offered scholarships to the best schools with full payment. Shinrei denied all of these offers so that he could take care of his now unstable father. One night before Shinrei would go to work he heard his father making a ruckus in the main room of their home. Seeing what his father was up to Shinrei walked out to the living room to see his father with a gun to his head. The stress of lossing his wife had finally become too much and combined with the alcohol he had snapped. Upon seeing his son, Shinrei's father did not recognize him and thought Shinrei was already at work so he shot him multiple times. Shinrei had been shot in the chest multiple times and there would be no saving him.
Biography After Death:
Shinrei wandered around as a spirit for some time before a soul reaper had found him. Even though he was just a spirit he was able to use his talent in martial arts to help defend himself against lower ranked hollows. The soul reaper preformed a the ceremony to send him to Soul Society.
Soul Reaper Academy:
Upon entering the Soul Reaper Academy, Shinrei's skill and abilities were already above the academy'y standards. He was offered and asked to take a position in a squad just after his first year but he denied.
He wanted to be like a normal student and take the full course of the Academy. After Shinrei's second year he helped teach some of the classes taught at the academy that he was asked to teach. He also led class trips to the human world when he was needed too. After graduating from the academy at the top of his class he was offered the position of Captain of the 2nd squad since the late captain was sent to the royal guard. Late in his last year in the academy he had learned bankai, due to the intense training him put himself under in his spare time.
Division Life:
As a new captain Shinrei was nervous at first but given some words of wisdom from the head captain and he became more confident. If the 2nd squad would receive a mission Shinrei was there along with his squad to give them support. He very rarely did not go on a mission with them at first unless it was a easy one or he had a special mission of his own.
