Okay, so Mirror's post caught my interest when I noticed in the Test Thread that he created a format for 'Character Status/Relationships'. Basically, that's what a character map is. It's to tell/show people what your character's feelings are towards another. If they like them, hate them, enemies, best friends forever, in a relationship, etc.
