I'm not down with ME3 having multiplayer, unless its co-op and a friend gets to control one of the squad members, but still not liking the idea, its a RPG not a MMO, there can be only one Shepard in each of our games.

If they make it fable 2 style, I kinda am for multi player...
Project natal can be a big hit or miss...I do believe it will work well... I mean, sony is already going with the controller wii style...
And if they bring a vehicule back for planet exploration, which I am all for...Something that drive like a warthug would be nice... Not the biggest halo fan...but damn do I love the warthug...

Hrm I don't think I'd like a multiplayer Mass Effect 3 so much.
I dunno Fable 2's co-op style was kind of a downer to me, when I heard of co-op in Fable 2 I was expecting like a new twist in the story line, but it was just a dummy character invisible to the rest of the world.
One example of me questioning a single-player game going into co-op is F.E.A.R. 3. I was a big fan of the first two games, but now they're gonna make FEAR 3 co-op, where player two plays as the ghost brother with his crazy telekinetic powers, they got a twist that player two will be able to either help or secrelty hinder the hero character, which sounds kinda cool. My problem there though is that in the first two FEAR games you enjoy the creepiness, when the main character is alone weird stuff happens, or anything can startle you or get your adrenaline pumping.. But when you co-op FEAR, it may change the feeling of the game.
When I think of a friend being able to control one of the squad mates like Nerevar mentioned, that sounds like something doable to me, still not sure about it, seems risky to change the feeling of the game.

Sounds like a bad move to me.
And I agree w/ you Bal on F.E.A.R. 3 (I'm not typing it as F.3.A.R.). I mean, part of what made the first two F.E.A.R.s so scary/creep was the fact that you were by yourself. The cheesy live action trailers aren't helping either.

soren_alenko ...bringing back the fun & light? http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/view/101058-Mass-Effect-3-Will-Bring-Back-the-Fun-and-Lightness I always imagined ME3 would probably be the darkest of the trilogy, what with REAPERS ATTACKING EARTH (enough proof for you now, Turian Councilor?), but this makes me rethink that. Most likely it will have a happy ending of sorts, as things often do, so it's got the be happy at points, but otherwise, doomsday? The only time an apocalypse would be humorous would be a zombie apocalypse. Oh wait, husks! Anyway, I felt like ME2 had more humorous moments than ME1 did. And bringing back the fun and light? Because ME1 was a right little ray of sunshine.

well its going to be more like dead space 2s multiplayer...hored mode with objectives but it will also effect your single player outcom...its not needed to get a perfect ending but it can help i beleive no shepards willl be in multiplayer...its just a random human slarian and the various other speces.
