The NE training grounds are the personal training grounds for the nin of Otogakure. They are also set up to allow proper training for Genin, unlike the SE training grounds, which are restricted to Jounin and above.
The training grounds themselves are rather spacious, and consist of a large field of bare ground, accompanied by numerous wooden pillars, and bordered on three sides by cliffs. On the entrance side, the grounds are bordered by the village, and separated from it by a large wooden fence.
