Considering there's a lot of things with eyes and mouths everywhere, it's probably supposed to remind you of every single one of them, rather than any one in particular.

Meiling the Mighty Yeah, a bit. But I don't know anything about whoever that is, so I don't know how acurate the rest of it is. But I'm loving that the item is called Nightmare Fuel. Here Y'go, info on Ol' Nero Chaos. Agreed. When are they gonna make items called Fetish Fuel, Nausea Fuel, and High Octane Nightmare Fuel? 10 to 1 Odds says that the Nausea Fuel item will have numerous Barfing-Type Poses?
