Digi: I know exatcly what you are talking about. If someone bumps into me, my first reaction is always to apologize. My parents taught me manners. Everyone gets a "thank you" and a "have a good day" where ever I go. But metal shows are just rude. I do prefer 21 and over shows though I've only been to two. Gotta wait for my friends to catch up!

Kas: Not only is the business/establishment in trouble but the undersage person gets kicked out and banned.

I've been to quite a few Metal shows where people were very polite but those people were always about my age, older, or not too much younger. I think people forgot to teach their children manners after the mid 90's.

Funny coincidence that this topic is on top, because I have been saving for months for a concert called METALFEST being held this month at Harpo's Concert Theatre near where I live. If you're not familiar with the venue, it is one that hosts metal almost exclusively. They constantly have worthwhile shows, and many more than I can afford to attend, but this one seemed to stick out, and here is why.

This seems like a concert that would greatly appeal to me, but I have been looking for second opinions. Like most metal shows in Michigan, it is located in Detroit, and while safety is somewhat of an issue, it is an issue that must be sacrificed in the name of metal. Sometimes the benefits outweigh the risks, and for Death Metal, there are no risks that outweigh the benefits.

Seems like a good show. Though I can't saw I'm a big fan of Cattle Decapitation, or Decrepit Birth.

I've seen Soffocation about four or five years ago, they were great. The Faceless I've seen aswell, they were also pretty good. Fleshgod Apocolypse I've like for a while but haven't seen them, but I'm sure they will put on an interesting show. Devourment is also great. I'm not sure I've heard the others, but I might have, if I did I must not have been impressed by them. All in all though, that sounds like a pretty good show.
