How about a revival in this guild. Lets praise God people, come on! This is the day the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24

I'm all in favor of it. Fact is, I've been trying to work out the logistics of an online revival for months now.

hmmmm...(just a theory here) maybe we are already in Revival??? Are we talking and thinking more about God as we post our replies? Are we reading our Bibles more to find the answers to our questions, and the answers to questions asked by others?
Could it be that we just need to find a way to continue to fan the flames (for ourselves) but most importantly so that others will join us?

Oh, a definite possibility, and one I'm prayin' is accurate ... now we just need to figure out what to do next. That's the part I'm having trouble with.

Rather confused by revivals, we dont really have them in Orthodoxy.
Dont understand how one can plan on when and where the Sovereign and Holy Spirit will deem fit to act.

There is as difference between spontaneous Spirit led revival and revivals led by man. ( I had a hard time with this too until someone explained it to me) Revivals led by man can lead people to become more involved, pray more or search for deeper walk. The Holy Spirit of course needs no invitation to work a revival in anyone, and sometimes a man led revival where people are seeking God with their whole hearts, will lead to a visitation of the Holy Spirit.
Does that make sense?
In any case the Holy Spirit is involved if people are reading their Bibles more, praying or talking about God more than they were yesterday.

Ah, understood.
Then let us live in a constant state of revival, renewing our faith with each rising of the sun, emulating the seraphim who continuously cry "Holy Holy Holy", now and unto ages of ages! Amen!
Christos Anesti!
