To the north of the sky lands is a place called Tears of the sky. this location is the most romantic places in the entire Broken Moon, it is nothing but high hills with endless amount of water falls. To the fare north if hot springs and fresh water lakes, once every year mermaids will travail up the southern golf that separates the Borders from the Forest of Zion and The city of crimson to these lakes and hot springs like what fish do... but unlike fish the mermaids wall they go to these springs will shed there old scales that shine and reflect a white ghostly color in the rivers. Once there the mermaids would have lost all the scales around there feet allowing them to walk on land like humans but not for long.
