This isn't the official time line for the town but I figure in order to help some people work out where their characters fit in with things it'll help to know some important dates and events. For people who want to have their characters have a family history on Denia it will help establish exactly when they came to Denia.

June 1898: This is when the Desert Rose an old school Ginoversential styled airship crashed on Denia. The survivors included the MacMillian family, the airship captain, and four crew members. It was a small airship and that crash established the MacMillian Homestead.

April 1908: Aero Fattorino a small suspicious air cargo company owned by the Fattorino family began plans to turn the homestead into an airship rest stop.

September 2, 1908: Porta Denia officially named an air rest stop with the opening of the tiny Denia Inn at the base of the mother tree. This begins ten years of Porta Denia as a seedy mafia run hangout disguised as a simple air rest stop.

June 14, 1918: Eric MacMillian youngest member of the original MacMillian homestead family instigates the Denia Uprising in order to remove the Fattorino Crime Syndicate from Porta Denia.

1920: The final surge in the three year Denia Uprising occurs when military units from other parts of Gaia join in on the battle with organized crime and its hold on Porta Denia.

1921: The Fattorino family is defeated and the Denia Uprising comes to an end.

June 14, 1921: The first official government in the town of Porta Denia is formed with Eric MacMillian named the first official town selectman three years from the date of the Denia Uprising.

1922: Hastings Air Cargo Company the first legitimate and legal business founded on Porta Denia bringing with it jobs and growth.

1923: Hastings helps to establish the first organized school system on Porta Denia with a combined K through 12 school.

April 5, 1926: Porta Denia becomes a legally recognized town with the signing of the municipal charter.

Anybody who wants to have a family history on Denia that dates back anywhere between late 1908 and June 14, 1918 will have settled on a crime ridden mafia filled island. From 1918 to 1921 Denia was locked in a conflict with the mafia to remove the Fattorino family from Denia. So choose well if you want to have a family history on Denia.
