I'm joining and I thought I would share with you guys I stuck all my EI's and RIG items in my storage locker so I can get used to not using them xD

It's a cute idea. :}
I hold an opposite view though. > < In my mind, that's just a simple/classic style. I wear it a lot. I see others wear that style a lot. I don't think it ever left. XD
And, personally, I think we moved into the new style because we are exploring. That "old school" was redundant and explored to the edge. Back then, we'd equip a green item on the head and a green skirt and call it matching/balanced. Now that we have so many options, that's rarely considered to be "balanced." Now we have more items like d.anklets, fold-over socks, black canes, more colorful legwarmers that we were dying for in the old days. We also have more accessories. And we have wigs, contacts and mouths. People can add detail that was too impossible to imagine back then. And people didn't care about shape or flow because there were so few choices. XD If an item matched, you used it. You didn't care about overall shape.
But with that said, cute idea. I hope this brings back more appreciation for simple avatars. I think it's unfair that some outfits are considered crappy just because no CS items are equipped.
