None of the smaller businesses are hiring at all! I tried. I'm applying to Build a Bear Workshop, Bruster's Ice Cream, Subway, Macey's, and a couple other places. Hopefully one of them will hire me!
Also there is craglist. Many business looking for those sign spinners and even internships are helpful. Sure, they won't pay this summer but they might pay you next summer. Also, ask your parents for help. They seem like they are well connected people.
I really don't trust craglist. Too many people on there are just trying to rip you off.
You just have to be smart about it. I found one my first jobs on there. Got paid under the table tho....
Sounds kinda shady.
LOL! I was bookkeeping for a small law firm and ironically getting paid under the table is illegal. razz Ah I was only 19-20 at the time. Ah memories...
