Way back a few months ago I found an interesting topic on human evolution. Although no one has replied to it since me, I would like to repost my original post and make a debate about it in which I would like you to also share your own thoughts, suggestions, and pointing out fallacies(sp?). Remember, this is but one idea of how humans may evolve and may not be the right course of evoloution as each one of us has a different outlook and idea of how evolution might take place. ...the original post... Yes while it is true that we as humans are trying to repair and fix our telepathy and the fact that we are becoming more technologiclly evolved we should also look at the fact that a lot of this could be just nothing more than adaptation. The way I see humans evolving is that we are going to go into two different directions all togeather. Sorta' like the path splits due to our givin situation and adaptation since one human adapts differently from the next. (note that is not to say that humans all togeather show some of the same adaptation features.) The first path would be more of the muscle. sorta' like we get bigger, faster, stronger etc. etc. intelligence might be affected givin how we are raised but pretty much sences(sp?) reflex and that sorta lot might appear on the first path. As far as powers like magic and telepathy and that lot are probably going to be a givin but it might be restricted to maby a sole ability. Like for example, the first path would be bulky/ muscular but would have increased sences/ reflex and would be able to have more stamina and it would be a givin that they would be fast, somewhat agile (could differ depending on situation), and would probably have a good amount of dexterity as well as strength. the intelligence would be ranging from brutish to tatical. (would probably see more tactocal than brutish.) This path would sorta be like bringing back our primal instincts but in full force so this path would tend to be more tempermental and would posess maby one or two abilities at best.
Path two would me more agile and probably be opposite. They would be a mix of personalities but aren't as brutish or tempermental as path one would be. the would posess multiple abilities unlike path one who are restricted. Path two would also be like us physically. maby a little buffer or faster but not as built or as dexterious as path one. Path two would be more scientific as well as more capable of merging their abilities with sciencde as well as being able to multitask.
Well their you have it. my take on evolution. It isint ment to say im right or wrong. it's just a view point is all so take it in stride and have fun with with my take on things.

I think that technology has nearly eliminated natural selection and because of this, as a species, we will most likely become more physically frail because of the proliferation of harmful characteristics.
That's just my opinion though.
