Numair had become obsessed with keeping his family safe, the male rarely if ever left the den he shared with his mate now, but to hunt for himself and Faela and do the late night border patrols he had become accustomed to. Golden eyes slid over the young pups, a look of wonder clearly visible in his face. He had helped create these… they were of his flesh and blood… they were alive, with no mishaps, and he had every intention of keeping them that way.
Nuzzling the pups with his nose he looked around the den, making sure it was tidy for the arrival of any other wolves that wished to see them. Numair had asked Faela’s permission and then declared their den open for those who wished to see the first litter brought to the order.
[Will post for my pups later :3]

Faela had never expected such a litter, pups yes; but not so many. She licked each of them on the forehead before getting up and shaking out her to relieve the tension that had built up in her muscles from being stuck in the den for so long, but the pups now were old enough to start wandering outside of the den. Ordering them to stay inside for the moment being she stretched and looked longing out the opening of the den. She had gladly given permission to allow everyone to finally come and see the newest members to the pack.
Licking at Numair's maw she smiled. "I can't wait for everyone to meet them." she whispered softly. For the moment the pups were sleeping, or at least they seemed to be, but she knew it wouldn't last long. They were starting to stay awake for long and longer spans of time. It was finally high time she had the ability to leave the den and she was going to take this opportunity and run with it. She loved her family but she was to the point of feeling near being smothered by them and that included her beloved mate. "I am going to go for a walk and enjoy the sun for once. I need some real fresh air." she said licking Numair again and trotting out of den blinking away the momentary blindness that overtook her when she came through the entrance, but oh was it a glorious feeling.

x x x x x x x x x Kelly Clementine was no napping wolf; hell no would he waste his time sleeping when he could be doing something. Like sitting in the shade and pretending to be doing nothing while secretly checking up on plants (a job he thought was too feminine thanks to certain upbringing, but whatever). Or getting the hell away from Natter, who had named herself just earlier today after they had met with the alpha and . . . aw hell, what was her name and rank? Looked like she had tattoos all over her. Stiff old crone. God, it was good to be away from women right now; even a month or so since his escape from his old pack, Clementine could still hear those high-pitched orders and barks . . .
The best thing to do when there was nothing else to do was run, for Clementine was a terribly quick-footed wolf when he put his mind to it. All the races held for the dirt-ranked wolves had made him swift, even though he was still considered chunky and tall by a normal wolf's standards. As it was, he was just slowing to a regular trot when he happened by the couple's den, the scents of their pups reaching him. Not that Clementine had any particular reason to go see them - he was probably terrible with kids too if anything had been learned at his old pack during his time as pupsitter - nor did he want to. Only now he had accidentally made eye-contact with the femme just leaving the den and, dammit, now he couldn't just ignore her. Not if he wanted to make a few good first impressions to solidify his place here; Clementine felt that Natter had endangered him back there with her blabbermouth.
So he sighed and resigned himself to a quick chat with them before heading along his way. Wetting his dry mouth, the large wolf forced himself into a walk now, pausing before the den. "Morn'," he greeted in a deep drawl. "Feel it's gonna be a hot one t'day."
