Well, in a little while you'll be meeting so new/old members and that could spark things again. A lot of them a very powerful so maybe you guys could make teams to try and beat them in a match.

Ah.
Does very powerful mean they are good roleplayers or are you allowing them to keep their strengths so there will be Jonin + village members?

They're keeping their ranks (except for one who's a god-mod) but half of them are good role-players, especially Midori and Yuki.

Ah good roleplayers, excellent. If they have someone else agreeing to that statement, then they probably are good. In another guild I'm in I am currently sparring with two people, both claiming to be elite roleplayers and both making basic grammatical errors and beginners mistakes... that kind of think really gets you down.

Yeah, I consider myself an elite role-player but it doesn't mean anything without third-party input.

Most everyone in this guild who is active is a great role-player. I think you, Cobra, Kiiyashi, and Lilly are the best, though, Death.
I wonder when Jishaku will be back....?

The reason why it happened (just for future reference Death) is because so many people were locked into the actions of one person. (and this isn't a bash on Jishaku, as we all know that life happens)
...the problem remains however, that whenever you put more then 3 RPers into a single event, or scene, you start to see a drastic decrease in activity, unless all of the people know each other, live somewhat around the same time zone and are usually active themselves.
Then, also, you have the fact that for Event#2, your only two Chuunin and the Kage of the village are on hiatus until "The Bridge" is resolved... which is ALSO taking a ton of time becasue it involves about 7 people... all crammed into one scene.
Activity is generated by two things in a guild... Tournaments and Missions. What should have been done was to assign teams based on Activity... and send them all on missions. This however requires a dedicated NPC RPer who can run missions as a shadow enemy which controls the mission by essentially setting it up for the RPCs to engage with.

You're right. I think the cells would work if we could make them similar to the "slots" in my old guild. That was like a class and a team mixed together and the person in charge had quizzes and little missions going on all the time.
Personally, I'm not trying to skimp on my duties as kage, but I haven't been in a real RP in like forever. I've been teaching and leading so much that it seems more like a job than a recreation. I even joined a war the other day just to keep myself from getting rusty and overly bored. I'd love to generate missions but my heart wouldn't be in it and the missions would be terrible.
However, we could do a tourney if people are interested in that. There are a lot of ways of doing it so I would love input from as many people as possible:
1- Would you like a tournament?
2- And what kind of tournament would you like?
A lot of you probably don't know when I'm talking about types of tourneys so here's an idea:
Regular RP fights and the best RPers continue on.
Fights where the winner is determined by rolling dice for hits/misses. (includes hit-points)
An RP fight where points are awarded during the fight by others when a good move is landed.
Team fights. (including tag-team)
Others I can't think of.

1) Sure. A tournament sounds fun.
2) A team fight sounds fun. Like 2 people per team, so it isn't crowded.

This is a message for Death, or really to anyone else who wants to do things...
I don't mind running missions. In fact, I think it's fun. If anyone feels like they aren't getting enough RP practice and are getting bored (this includes you Death) I can run a mission through the Shop I made in the Village Center anytime people want.
