in a week our band is leaving for chicago and 2 years ago we went to cleavland and i wondered where some of your trips have been or going to be and fun times that u've had

A month ago I went to Disney, last year we went to Myrtle Beach, North Carolina, two years ago we went to Gatlinburg, TN. They were all SUPER amounts of fun!!! Next December the music department (except for the orchestra) are all going to London for two weeks to participate in the Silver Anniversary of the London New Year's Day parade. My school was one of 15 schools in the U.S. to be invited to go. And we're a high school students, too.

We also went to Disney in the beginning of April. We go every other year. We performed on the Waterfront Stage. It was awesome.

we have a huge-a** competition in Chattanooga, we make it like a 3-day trip instead of overnight.
we sometimes go to a renaissance faire, as well.

We go to brandon every year for the jazz festival there, and also every other year the senious band and jazz bands go play at the Rocky Mountain Music Festival in Banff. This year we went on both trips, next year my school will just go to the one (though I won't be there. Friggin graduation crying )

Oh! This past Saturday, the 8th grade band took their annual spring trip. :] We went to a competition/festival over in Richmond :] It was sponsored by King's Dominion. xD We actually placed 2nd out of 10 different middle schools. We had an overall score of 99.579 I think. We lost to first place by less than a point! :I But for us, placing didn't really matter. Our main goal at this festival/competition was to get back that superior rating we didn't get a Concert Festival. We came out w/ an overall rating of superior from all three judges :] We were soooo happy! And after all that, we just spent the rest of the day at King's Dominion w/ our BD and had a blast! :] It was the beast! :]

I wish I could go to Chicago and Cleaveland! You guys are so lucky!! >_< Those are the two places I'd die to go to right now...

We decided that Pier 9 and 3/4 is how kids from the US get to Hogwarts.

Our band has been to China (2005) and Australia/New Zealand (2007, and performed at the Sydney Opera House).
Since my band's in California, we've been up and down the state for MB comps, but mostly staying within the central valley (mostly the past couple of years due to money issues).
Jazz band usually goes to Reno every year, which is super fun! heart

We have been all over Texas, we've been to Baylor University, and other colleges for festivals and such. We had a Masquerade Ball for an end of the year party at a local University. We're going to South Padre Island for next year's EOY party. My band is in Kerrville Texas, just north of San Antonio. Tivy High School.
