Changes in the Contest! (05/13/10)

Since there seems to be a lack of writers, and too much artists, we'll introduce the next changes
1.- Script and comic will be judged separately: Writers, show me the best your brian juices can come up with. Artists, use your tools and make those scripts come to life!
2.- The slots will expand/decrease: What does this mean? We'll no longer put the slot limit if there's an empty spot for an artist or a writer instead we'll add new spots even if there are more artists than writers and vice versa, wich comes to the main change
3.- Competence!: Due to the lack of writers, artist will share a script. Wich one? We don't know, they'll be trow at random, but be sure someone else can be working in the same one as you, so your goal is not only to make it work, but to make it better than the rest
the Freaking method thread is open for those who want tips about storyline
That said, I hope you enjoy being in the guild, remember we're eager to see your art!

Just to let you remember we're starting to give the slots in the new system for the contest, and we're close to the closing day, so if you want to reserve a spot, please go to the contest sing-up thread, and if you have already ask for one, please check the list to see if you're in the right list, and in case you want to change your position (from artist to writter and vice versa).
We'll be waiting to get this ready =b
Also, there'll be a cleanage of old and forgotten threads today, so if you find out a thread you wanted to post in is gone, PM me so I can put it back
Threads with no posts since april will be moved

May contest sign up: Closed 05/16/2010 And that's it for sign ups, I was really surprised how many people signed up! Its awesome seeing you all stepping up to the challenge. Well, remember writers, your scripts are due on the 19th! Check the sign up list for your random word! -0 ~~~ Come on people! 05/22/2010 Ok writers! We have a grand total of two scripts. You writers have until tomarrow at around 9 am to submit your scripts to either me (zerochan923600) or Yattaro_SB. As for the Prizes! Writers will recieve an ORLY? hat Artists will get a YARLY! hat no, really. Hope to get some more scripts in!

Seriously guys? 2 of 7 scripts? neutral
Anyway, that only makes things harder for the artists, who will compete against each other.
Now I hope at least the artists make it on time =P

Artists, you have all been given your scripts. Contest will end 31st.
Just a heads up, next month there will be no contest. I repeat, no June contest. I know a lot of you are finishing school and no one wants to work when summer vacation starts XD.
July will also not have a contest, but instead i will have something else planned. Wut is it? I have no idea XD

Extension 6/1/10
I have made an extension for the contest at the request of one of the participants. The new deadline is tonight at 12. I will put up a thread for you to post your entry at that time. Sorry for the confusion. Dont forget that June will have no contest, so concentrate on your work and enjoy your summer!

bearkin and grunt wins, bearkin cuz she was the only artist to actually submit something. grunt wins not because his was the only script illustrated, no that would be unfair. we judged his and Bobby's where judged script to script and grunts won on account of originality i guess. yeah
so, i'm taking a break from contests for a while guys, i see you guys arent to interested in them anymore, but dont worry, i'll figure out something, though it would be great if you guys could help out too. it takes a lot of people to keep a guild alive, ya know? specially a member supported one like this.
Hm, while I have your attention, I'd like to have a shout out to any seniors graduating this month, congrates and enjoy your summer everyone!
Edit: this goes without saying, but Yatt is really disapointed in the out come of the last contest as well. Hope to see more member involvement in the future. The thing is, if you cant do it, then tell us, but dont just not enter last minute. Yeesh.
