Critique and Comment, if you please. =D I usually don't do this much sap in my writing, but this came up. So, thought I'd share this with you as my first post.
This love letter was written for the following situation:
George and Paige are engaged. George goes off to fight in a war. Five years after his departure, a letter is sent to Paige telling her of George's death. Five years later still, George returns home very much alive, only to find Paige is engaged to another man (Paul). On the wedding day, Paige receives an anonymous letter from George (though she thinks it's from Paul).
Dear Paige,
This may seem odd, and probably a bit awkward, but I felt it had to be done. You are about to be married today, and I sincerely hope you're happy. From the past days it seems you have mix feelings, and before you make your final decision, before you decide the rest of your life, I hope you are absolutely certain this is what you've always wanted. As much as it hurts, I have to tell you that if it meant never seeing your smiling face again, it would be worth it, if only to know that you were completely satisfied with your life and the decision you have made. I love you that much.
However, should you choose to be without me, I know my heart will be shattered into countless pieces, and never again could anyone gain the same love I hold for you and only you. As I write this, my heart bleeds, knowing that it may be the last words I ever say to you, and the last time I may ever bear to see your shining face.
To describe my love for you would be impossible, just as words can not begin to explain the many ways that you are beautiful, some of which I feel that only I can see and enjoy while the rest of the world remains oblivious. I recall our memories together, and for me they were the only moments worth living; they were my sole purpose of surviving, and the best times of my life.
I hope this letter will help you make this life-altering decision that has fallen on your shoulders this day. Remember that my love for you is eternal, that no matter what you choose I will always be there as a shoulder for you to cry on, as a friend to ensure your happiness, and as the watchful eye that will always be your protector.

I'm new here but in my honest opinion, I like it alot. It's so well written, infact I don't think I could even attempt to alter it or tell you how to improve on it. It's an awesome letter with a pretty good storyline behind it.Good job. 3nodding
