What happen...?
Many seasons after Firestar's, Hollyleaf's, Lionblaze's & Jayfeather's generation, the clans were at war against each other again.
The clans were in turmoil.
It wasn't soon after untill SkyClan appeared.
They said that their territory was taken over by twolegs & they wandered around the forests untill they came upon the four clans.
SkyClan asked all four clans for some land.
They all refused. Even ThunderClan.
SkyClan left and camped just outside WindClan's territory.
Meanwhile, ShadowClan accused RiverClan of stealing their prey, even thought it was wasn't true.
A huge battle started, it was just like the one when WindClan attacked ThunderClan and got the other clans involved too.
ThunderClan & SkyClan helped ShadowClan, while WindClan helped RiverClan.
Except this time,there was no escplise.
Many, many cats died that night.
The only leader left was Flowerstar of SkyClan. The rest had been killed.
But Flowerstar only had one life left...
The five clans soon camped on the island.
They were happy & cheerful. There were no more fights.
They'd almost forgotton that they'd came from different clans.
Until...

Prologue~
Flowerstar curled up in her nest and gazed around at the settling cats.
I wish life could always be like this...
"Hey! Flower! You going to sleep so soon?" A voice meowed.
Flowerstar looked up at her kit, "Yes Flightkit, you should get to sleep soon too."
Flightkit moaned, "Oh come on! Storm said I didn't have to!"
Flowerstar mrrwed in amusement, "Just because your father said you didn't have to doesn't mean don't."
Flightkit grumbled and stomped away.
They're all forgetting their warrior names..
A gray tom with bright blue eyes padded towards Flowerstar.
"Hello Stormeyes," Flowerstar meowed to her mate.
"Don't call me that anymore."
Flowerstar looked at Stormeyes in confusement.
"What do you mean?"
"We don't have apprentice ceremonies anymore."
"So?" Flowerstar challenged.
"Flower..don't you understand?
Flowerstar looked away.
Stormeyes looked in the distance,
"The times of the warrior clans are over, Flower."

Chapter1~
10 Moons later...
"Hey Dew!"
Flightkit rushed towards Dewkit.
Dewkit looked over to see Flightkit.
"Morning!"
Flightkit nodded a greeting.
"Aren't you excited? Today we get to explore off the island!"
"Yes!" Flight agreed, "And where's Sun,Breeze, & Dark?"
"Right here!" An orange tabby tom called as he & two other cats padded towards Dewkit & Flightkit.
"Hi Sun!" Dew called to him.
"Isn't Sun just so hansome?" Dewkit whispered to Flightkit.
Flightkit looked away, she didn't want to be like Dewkit, getting all moony for a tom.
Even thought they were already 15 moons old,
Flightkit still didn't like the idea of having a mate.
Breezekit looked at the fallen tree,
"We have to cross this?!"
"You're not going to fall," Darkkit told her.
"That's for you to say!"
"Well, it'll be funny if you fell over, or maybe I can push you over." Dark-kit suggested.
"You guys,stop!" Sun yowled.
They stopped arguing.
"Isn't he just the best, Flight?" Dewkit whispered to Flightkit again.
Flightkit sighed.
Not this again!
It was when Sunkit would scold Breezekit & Dark-kit like an older sibling.
While Dewkit went on and on about Sunkit being so great to Flightkit.
And she certainly didn't want to go throught that again.
"SHUT UP!" Flightkit yowled.
The others turned to look at her.
"We're not here to argue okay? If you keep that up,your parents will find out and we'll get punished for trying to leave the island without permission."
Flightkit looked around at the cats, she had tried to reason with them.
"So Breeze, whether you like it or not, get your damn bottom on that log!"
Breezekit was startled and she quickly started walking across the fallen tree log.
One by one,the cats started to cross without a word on Flightkit's behavior.
"Wow,Flight," A voice meowed to her.
Flightkit looked behide her to see Dewkit.
"Sometimes,you make a better leader than Sun."

Chapter2~
Sunkit looked over at Flightkit,
clearly impressed by her.
"Hey Sun,"Dark-kit meowed.
Sunkit looked at him, embrassed since he thought that he saw him staring at her.
"What do we do now?" Dark-kit asked, not noticing Sunkit sigh in relief.
"We could check out the old River..something camp!I heard it's near here somewhere." Dewkit suggested.
"Plus, I'm River..whatever-you-call-it too!"She added.
Breezekit nodded, "As long as it's not far."
Flightkit started to head off.
"Hey! Where are you going?" Sunkit called.
Flightkit looked over at them with a surprised look on her face.
"The River whatever camp."
"Oh," Sunkit meowed,embrassed.
Dark-kit ran after Flightkit.
Breezekit tagged behide him.
Dewkit walked alongside Sunkit, making sure her pelt brushed against his.
Sunkit felt awkward and rushed to the front of the other cats.
He thought he could feel Flightkit's pelt prickle with annoyance as he rushed ahead of her and took the lead again.
"You guys! Stop!"Dark-kit meowed suddenly.
The cats turned to stare at him.
He had his nose high in the air and was sniffing something.
"Don't you smell that? It reeks!" He told them.
Breezekit sniffed the air.
"Bleh! You're right!I t even smells worse than you!"
Dewkit looked around, "Where's it coming from?"
"Over there," Flightkit flicked her tail towards a tree.
"Stay back, I'll handle this," Sunkit told them.
"Whatever."
Flightkit ran forward and jumped on one of the tree branchs.
"Woah! How'd you do that?" Breezekit meowed, surprised.
"It's whatever you call 'em blood. Everyone in Sky whatever can do that," Flightkit explained.
"That is so cool!" Dewkit exclaimed.
Flightkit nodded and turned her back on them to see what was causing the smell.
Then she started to tremble so hard you could see her tremble from where Darkkit was.
"You okay?"Sunkit called.
Flightkit rushed off the tree branch & straight into Sunkit.

Chapter3~
Breezekit watched Flightkit curl up against Sunkit.
She gazed over at Dewkit, sure to see her puffing up and getting all jealous.
And she was right.
"What happened?" Sunkit asked Flightkit softly.
I've never seen him like that before..
Flightkit was trembling so much,she couldn't stop.
"I...I...t-there was..he was...d-d-dead..."
Flightkit curled up closer to him.
Dewkit's expression soften seeing that Flightkit was only frightened.
"Whatever,stop being so scared, Flight, I mean what could it possibly be?"Dark-kit meowed.
Breezekit rolled her eyes.
I can't belive he can be so ignnorant & stupid sometimes!
Darkkit padded over towards the smell.
He paused suddenly.
When Dark-kit turned back around, his face looked a bit pale.
"Sun, you gotta come see this."
Sunkit, Breezekit & Dewkit walked to where Dark-kit was.
On the ground laid two bodies.
There was a wolf, it's face was expressionless and covered with blood & cat claw marks.
And the other body...
"Sparrow!" Sunkit howled.
Sparrowpaw layed on the ground next to the wolf.
He had a deep bite at his neck and fresh blood was still pouring from it.
"Sparrow! No! Answer me!" Sunkit cried.
Breezekit didn't know why he was so sad at first.
Then it hit her.
Sparrowpaw was Sunkit's brother.
Breezekit watched Sunkit howl out for his brother.
Then Breezekit started to feel empty.
She felt like howling with Sunkit.
And she did.
"Breeze..what's wrong?" A voice meowed.
"..I-I liked him so much.."
"Um..well, it's okay...I guess..not really..." The voice said again.
Breezekit turned to look at who said those things.
She was surprized to see Dark-kit looking sheepish.
Darkkit saw her staring at him & he quickly looked away.
"He was only twenty moons..." Dewkit meowed.
There was an awkward slience since the cats didn't know what else to say.
They were too shaken from his death.
"What's a wolf doing here?" Sunkit demanded.
"No one knows," Dark-kit meowed.
"We should tell the other cats back at the island." Flightkit meowed.
The cats were a bit shocked to hear Flightkit speak since she hadn't spoken for a long time.
"He died since he didn't have much battle training. The other cats should start training us again. We should be apprentices."
Breezekit looked away, she didn't want battle training.
She just wanted to live peacefully on the island with the other cats.
Is that too much to ask?
"We better go..." Sunkit meowed.
They didn't have to be told twice.
They trudged along the field.
Breezekit & Sunkit carrying Sparrowpaw.
While Flightkit, Dewkit & Dark-kit carried the wolf.

Chapter4~
Dark-kit was carrying the dead wolf along with Flightkit & Dewkit.
Ugh! This is so heavy!
Darkkit saw the fallen tree ahead.
He dropped the wolf down.
"How are we going to get this across? And what will the others say?"
Breezekit glared at him,
"Don't be so stubborn, Dark."
Dark-kit grunted.
"Well it's true, Breeze! What will we say?"
"We'll decide when we get there," Flightkit told them.
Dark-kit looked over at Sunkit.
He usually gave all the commands.
But Sunkit was grief-striken by his older brother's death.
Dark-kit watched as Dewkit gaze at Sunkit with pity.
Flightkit started dragging the dead wolf across the log.
She motioned for Dark-kit & Dewkit to help her.
Darkkit rushed over to her.
He wasn't looking and crashed into Dewkit.
"Watch it!" she hissed at him.
Darkkit rolled his eyes,
"Well, Sor-ry"
Spaz, he added silently.
Dewkit picked up the wolf by it's side and then dropped it,
"It stinks!" she complained.
Stop whining like a kit, Dark-kit thought.
"Just pick it up," Sunkit meowed,clearly annoyed at her attitude.
Dark-kit sank his teeth into the top of the wolf.
Flightkit helped him cross it over the bridge.
Dewkit sighed and shook her head as she reluctuatly helped them.
When they crossed the bridge, Dark-kit turned around to see if Sunkit & Breezekit made it yet.
Breezekit was standing there—looking horrible.
Dark-kit's heart soften for her.
Why am I feeling like this for her?
He quickly shook the feelings away.
Sunkit caught him staring at her and pulled him away from the group.
"Hey, you seem to have feelings for her," Sunkit flicked his tail over towads Breezekit.
Darkkit shrugged, "I dunno."
Sunkit rolled his eyes.
"Oh come on! It's so obvious!"
Dark-kit looked at him in the eye.
"You think so? I don't really feel..."
Darkkit paused, unable to lie.
Then he scented something familliar coming.
"So when did this start? I think ou two totally match! I think she likes you too! Hey—"
"Flightkit? Sunkit? Dewkit, Dark-kit & Breezekit? You there?"
Sunkit sighed.
"It's Flower, I don't understand why she still uses warrior names. We should be paw's already," Sunkit meowed.
Dark-kit ignored Sunkit's comment.
"We're over here!" he called.
Flowerstar padded over to them.
"You guys didn't sneak out again did you? I told you that you weren't--"
Flowerstar paused as she spotted the wolf and Sparrowpaw.
"What happened..?"
Her voice was barely a whisper.
"Mother...we found them off the island near River..something camp. They were both already dead.."

Chapter5~
Flowerstar had made a huge annoucement to the cats just a while ago.
She said that they had to relearn the ways of the warrior path.
Dewpaw and her friends were all made apprentices.
They were now training in the forest.
"Do you really think the wolves are going to attack us?" Darkpaw asked.
Dewpaw rolled her eyes.
"No, I just think they'll let us go with our lives, living on the territory they think they own," Dewpaw meowed sarcastically.
"Really?Well—"
"I was just joking! Geez! " Dewpaw snapped.
The other three apprentices looked at Dewpaw.
"What? What's wrong with me?" She asked.
"Nothing.." Sunpaw mumbled.
They continued praticing fighting moves for a little while more silently.
Breezepaw broke the silence.
"Do you think this training is even nessesary?"
"Why wouldn't it be?" Flightpaw asked her friend.
Breezepaw looked away.
"Oh, I dunno. Maybe because the older warriors can defeat the wolves. Then the wolves will never bother us again."
"Nice ending, but what if other threats come?" Darkpaw argued.
For once Dewpaw agreed that Darkpaw was right.
Dewpaw was about to say, 'I'm agreeing with Darkpaw. The world must be ending.'
A deep uncat-like howl rang out.
Dewpaw looked up in alarm.
"Run!" Sunpaw yowled.
The five cats broke into a run without hesitation.
The ground pounded the pursuers chased after them.
End~

Chapter6~
Flightpaw could hear the ground pounding behind her.
I knew we shouldn've stayed on the island! She thought.
They had been training in ShadowClan territory.
A bad choice.
It was the most far to the island.
"We won't make it!" Breezepaw told them.
"Oh well, at least we'll die fighting. It's a honor. According to the warrior code," Darkpaw meowed back to her.
"You guys! We're not going to die! We have to survive!" Dewpaw demanded.
She was afraid of dying.
"We can't just run," Sunpaw told them desperately, "We won't make it!"
"You're right," Flightpaw meowed.
She stopped running.
The other cats slowed to a stop.
"What are you doing?" Dewpaw asked her friend.
"You'll be killed!!" Sunpaw yowled at her.
Flightpaw looked away from her friends to the direction of where their pursuers were coming from.
They were close.
She would only have a few moments to explain this.
"If we run, we'll die for sure," Flightpaw meowed quickly.
"But we might stand a chance if we fight back. We've had some training." She continued.
Darkpaw look like he was about to explode.
"Gee, Flightpaw, we might?"
Flightpaw wasn't appreciating the sarcasm coming from him.
"At least we'll stand a chance! I'm not running like a coward!" she hissed at him.
Darkpaw backed away, "Alright your choice."
He turned and was about to head off but Sunpaw stopped him.
"She's right," he meowed quietly.
Breezepaw agreed.
"We are definitely not going to run like cowards."
Only Dewpaw looked nervous about this.
Darkpaw looked at Dewpaw.
A silent agreement passed throught them.
"Fine." Darkpaw grumbled, "We'll stay, but when things get too bad, we'll run."
The other cats nodded.
Before they could do anything else, five wolves burst into the scene.

Chapter7~
Sunpaw yowled, "Split up!"
The other four apprentices understood, they would each be taking on one wolf.
The each hurled themselves at the wolves.
They were smaller than the wolves, but they were agile.
Sunpaw hissed as he dug his claws into the wolf's fur.
The wolf barked, and Sunpaw could feel blood pour out from the wound.
Suddenly, Sunpaw knew what to do.
His eyes narrowed, and he dug his other claws in the wolf's snout.
The wolf yelped in pain and threw Sunpaw off. All around him he could hear the others battles.
But he focused on his own.
Landing on all fours, Sunpaw lept forward again, pretending to aim for the face again.
The wolf parried the attack, not knowing that it was a feint.
Sunpaw let out a slight smile of satisfaction as he hurled straight into the belly of his opponent.
He dug his sharp claws in. Deep.
The wolf howled.
Then, for good measure, Sunpaw took a deep bite out of his enemy's flesh.
He spat the blood, fur, and flesh on the ground with disgust.
The wolf screamed and tried to fling Sunpaw off.
Thinking that it was enough, Sunpaw jumped off.
The wolf was wounded and weaken. But not dead.
Sunpaw hissed once again.
This time, the wolf threw itself at Sunpaw.
Sunpaw prepared for the weight of the wolf to land on him, ready to attack again.
The wolf slammed into him and the weight threw them towards a tree.
Sunpaw hit his head.
Hard.
He could feel something sticky and wet running down.
He growled and looked into the wolf's bloodlusty eyes with menace.
"You've just dug your own grave."

Chapter8~
Sunpaw fought like a crazy animal.
Breezepaw stood back and watched him rip apart him enemies.
Same with Flightpaw.
It was Breezepaw, Dewpaw, and Darkpaw that weren't fighting.
They just watched the two crazy cats whirl at their enemies.
All of the five wolves were down quickly.
Flightpaw and Sunpaw were covered in blood. It looked disgusting.
"Ew," Breezepaw muttered.
Flightpaw noticed that Sunpaw was stained first.
"Oh my gosh! You're bleeding! Everywhere!"
"The same with you!"
"What?"
They both looked down at themselves in shock. Then realizing that it was the wolves blood.
"That's very gross," Dewpaw meowed.
"It's how we're going to be like of we're going to be warriors," Sunpaw meowed.
Darkpaw backed up, and then tripped on his own tail.
Breezepaw bit back a mrrw of laughter at his clumsiness.
Darkpaw could be so cute some times, she thought.
Then she suddenly realized what she had thought.
She quickly glanced at Darkpaw, who was trying to regain his posture and not look silly. But he was failing miserbly.
Darkpaw is not cute, she told herself. But she was fooling no one.
Meanwhile, Sunpaw and Flightpaw were fevertly cleaning themselves, despite what Sunpaw had said about the warrior code.
Dewpaw was watching the two cats in admiration. Well...one cat in certain.
Sunpaw.
Handsome, golden pelt Sunpaw.
Breezepaw sighed, knowing that this would probably be the beginning of a complicated love.
Seeing how they were back to their 'clans'.
The warrior code strictly forbid any of this romance.
Any of it.
And seeing how...Sunpaw had an interest in Flightpaw.
And Flightpaw was adapting back to the warrior code.
She was a rule-follower. A good no-nonsense leader.
Breezepaw thought of herself also as a rule-follower.
Darkpaw?
The rule-breaker. The playful joker. A jester.
Dewpaw: the 'love conquers all' believer.
Personally, Breezepaw didn't believe that quote.
And finally, Sunpaw?
The handsome player.
