Come and help everybody from being hacked by telling your tips or your experiences so it doesn't happen to other people. I think this will help a lot of people.

- Don't pass out your pass word.
- Change your pass word at regular times.
- Always check the address bar to make sure it's the actual gaia site and not a fake.
- Make your pass word with letters and numbers and confusing to anyone but you.[

- Never do repeat passwords. Always have little changes.
- If at any time you enter your password other than in the bank or when buying something in the marketplace or when sending a gift, change it immediately.
- NEVER follow a link to the marketplace for a seemingly great deal on an item.
-Even if they are your friends, never trust anybody with your password.
- Gaia will never ask for your password in forums or PMs or comments so NEVER give them your password.
-Never enter your log in information into the boxes that pop up in the forums. It is a user trying to get your information through a code in their siggy.
- If you have lots of valubles, especially on your avi, change your password several times a month. I change mine every week.
- If you have mules, DO NOT use the same password for all of them. If one gets hacked that will leave the rest to you.

hmm... well many people have said I'm quite an achiever here on gaia for being an '04 member. Many of them have gotten hacked and I still haven't.
=/

Honestly, I just never click on links unless I know where they lead to.
Never fall for those cheap scams where they use gaia scripting to get your password.
I usually change my password every 3 or so months, so many say to change it every month.
Anyone that says they're an admin I report... cause yeah, like I'm going to believe them. I've been on gaia for so long long that I know the admins who would send info about my account to me. =/
Oh this is one I've noticed... it almost seemed like Lanzer and a few big admin accounts got hacked by scriptors, they came on rallies and were bugging people and being weird, always be weary of such things.
