Ok, the only Kanto gym leaders I need to defeat are Blane, Blue and Misty. But Misty hasn't shown up. What do I have to do to get her to come around?

I heard that she only shows up for Wednesdays. (probably wants to watch the new Zero Punctuation)

You must first get the Kanto-Johto train running.
After you do so go up to Route 25, to a small hillock past Bill's house. Misty is there with a boyfriend. He runs away and she comes and calls you a pest, but she can be found at the Gym after that.
Blaine is in the Seafoam Islands. Go up the first ladder you see upon entering.
Blue is at what used to be Cinnebar Island. If you haven't gotten all fifteen other badges yet, he'll stay put. After you get all the other badges talk to him and he'll go to Viridian and you can challenge him there.
