That's a tough question. I've never played the original PM, but I'd have to say...
I like Super Paper Mario, because the plot and characters were really well done. It was a excellent game, however, the turn based battles would have done it wonders.
Dimentio. On stage. *drools*
But then again, they were trying out something new, and I commend them for that.
I also like PM:TTYD, excellent bosses, excellent locations, but could have used a better plot. Although, I love the ending. Excellent.

All three of them are great, but with the first two games I will get to the point where I'll try to avoid ALL avoidable battles. Then with then third one, it takes forever to level up, cuz most of the enemies don't give very many points.

The original!! Paper Mario forever!! I Love the graphics for the N64, the story isn't quite original, but the bosses are! Tubba Blubba, Tutenkoopa, General Guy, Koopa bros., Crystal King, Lava Pirahna, Huff N. Puff! True the other two are awesome! Doopliss, Bleck. They are good to! I think all three are awesome, but if I had to pick, I'd choose the original because, hey, I think it's awesome!

I've only played Super Paper Mario, but I read about the other two often.
I pick Super Paper Mario, because its the only one I've played and it's, well, super~

Hmmm... I like all three, but the original's the one I most prefer to play, for some reason.
