I blame the taboo way that sex is treated. When someone is refused something natural, they tend to exaggerate and twist it in their minds.
Dude: Furries were not invented by the hentai community. True furries look like flippin' mascots. H-furries are technically animalia fetishes, more akin to trans-species sexuality than real furries. In fact, the majority of the furry community is not even sexual in nature. Yiff-yiffs are actually the minority, and even though they wear full fursuits. (Yes, I know way too much about this. xp Mock if you will.)
