Dieselpunk is not as popular as Steampunk, nor is it as fleshed out as Steampunk. What makes Dieselpunk a tad more exciting is that WW1-2 is right within the Dieselpunk timeline, so you can have weird technology with those cool WW2 uniforms. Where Steampunk is adventuring gentlemen and aether and zeppelins, Dieselpunk is more gritty, more dystopian, technology is based on diesel and electricity, and we got biplanes and monoplanes. And nazis.

Well, while this is mostly centered towards Steampunk, it's about other Anachronisms too, like Dieselpunk.
