I'm just wondering how many people have some good supplies laying around the house, garage attic/basement etc... And also what it is you have.

I have a large ray of tools, from saws to crowbars axes and drills. I have a portable gas powered generator. It's technically my neighbors but I would steal it if a had to. My house has a fireplace and tons of wood in the back. Believe it or not I have some old army supplies including those glow stick chem lights, packaged food, and even some flares. I have enough supplies to survive a few days but the only thing I'm lacking are some good weapons. Weapons I DO have are some is a machete, axe, and some knives. But no guns so that would take some time to get around and collect.

I live in FL and most of us have neither basement nor attic (not practical here) but in the tool shed there is yard equipment (shovels, rakes, mower, weedwhacker, ect. . .), old baby stuff from me and my sister, tools, auto care supplies, sporting equipment, some old chairs, and 100+ anoles, spiders, and roaches. Nothing really good or effective, not even an axe >_<
Around the house, we use electric heating and cooking but we do have a fire place and a couple wood piles out back. We also use well water (filtered spring water straight from the aquifer smile ) Three swords (two katanas and a Toledo made rapier), an assortment of guns, and two big Tupperware containers of canned goods as well as other emergency hurricane supplies (Flashlights, floodlights, lighters, matches, crank powered radio ect. . . )
In my room I have a hoard of trail mix and other dry snacks (don't ask) a steel softball bat, a trombone (inside it's case it has incredible bludgeoning power and weight, swings very well too), color guard flag (For marching band, rip off the fabric and it a perfect steel staff weapon with it's balance and weight, hack off the end into a sharp edge and you got a spear :3), mace (probably useless on zombies but great on jerks trying to steal my supplies, knives, and well that's about it.
I can hold out for a couple weeks in the event of a zombie attack. And I live out in the country so if I'm careful, I can go out and whack a nearby cow for meat or fish even (assuming, hopefully, zombies are not attracted to animals as well and animals are not zombies either >_<. ) If not, well there are plenty of edible plants around. (abandoned crops/gardens, dandelions, scuppernongs, avocados, watercress, black berries, acorns((can also be used for bread)), ect. . . . . . . )

*cough*GoGators*cough* FL is probably The Best place to sit out a Zombie Apocalypse. Warm, plentiful food and water, and who's gonna eat your brains if you pack up your stuff in a commandeered boat house/yacht? xd Kishiru324 YOU FROM FLORIDA TOO!? ;DDDD

Yay for Florida! xD;;
As for supplies, I have the basics. I don't have many guns, just my grandfather's old rifles and some airsofts. I've got a crowbar, a lot of tools that can help, and stuff like that...
My plan doesn't require many supplies though, except food, building supplies, wood, and bludgeoning devices. My plan is that I'm gonna go up on the roof and camp. :> And when the zombies eventually reach me, whether it be through the house, going up the stairs and stuff, I'll just give 'em a good whack and knock them off the roof!
