"Do I get a lolly after I see the doctor?" Logan asked as she and Jackie waited for it to be her turn for her check up.
Jackie laughed. "And why do you think you even get one?" she asked. Logan made a pouty face.
"Because that's how it goes in the TV shows. When the kid goes to the doctor, afterwords they get a lolly pop..."
"Well, it depends if Apoxi has any for you, so we'll have to see."

Apoxi, looking very different from how she usually did, poked her head out of the little office. Her usually wild brown hair was neatly braided back, and her soft eyes were actually visible behind clear little glasses perched on her upturned nose.
"Hey there! Ready to come in and get checked over, Logan?"
