Apollo walked alongside Yue into the shadowy woods. He constantly stumbled over his feet as he uselessly attempted to not snap every twig that littered the forest floor. "At least Artemis isn't here to make fun of me," he muttered, his voice barely a whisper. He was going to make a complete fool of himself in front of the one girl he was allowed to impress. He sighed and desperately listened for the slightest sound of a creature crawling beneath the leafy floor.

Aeron wimpered faintly from under his bush. He hadn't eaten in days, and all he could think about was the horrible knawing pain that was ripping at his stomach. He hadn't been able to make it back to his assigned clearing before dark, and the two-legs must have forgotten him. And here came two sleek adult wulfine, possibly the only ones who might be able to help him, and all he could muster was a faint wimper.

Yue padded alongside Apollo, trying not to laugh. With all the noise he was making, he probably scared off all the prey within at least a mile of here.
Yue stopped, she heard something. She crept toward the bush where the small wimper had come from. "Apollo!" She screeched, leaning under the bush and gently pulling out a small wulfin by the fur on the back of his neck. The poor wulfin looked starved.

Aeron let out a small sigh of relief when a silver wulfin heard him. He wasn't going to starve after all. Unless they were hungry too. Would they eat him? He shivered at the thought, but when the silver wulfin did her best to lift him gently, he knew they wouldn't. Even if it did hurt a bit.

Apollo stopped in his tracks and turned around as he saw Yue pull a small dark blue wulfin out of a bush. He rushed over to the skinny kit and Yue. Apollo felt bad for the kit, it must be starving! And he knew what it felt like to go without food because of Artemis. "I'll be right back," Apollo said as he darted back to camp. He snatched a bird that was in the pile of food Artemis and Yue had formed. Apollo ran back to where Yue and the kit were waiting. Right when they came into sight Apollo ran directly into a thorn bush. He howled in pain as little thorns stabbed through his fur and into his skin. He picked the bird back up and struggled with the thorny branches. After a few minutes and a lot of swearing, Apollo finally freed himself. He padded over to the dark blue kit and dropped the bird in front of him.

Yue looked at Apollo then at the kit, eyes wide with worry, the little blue kit looked like it was starving. She watched as Apollo ran off. Within a few moments, she heard Apollo run into something, typical him. As he came back with the bird, she batted his shoulder lightly with her paw, "Watch your mouth!" She half scolded, half teased. Yue looked back at the kit, she nudged the bird toward him with her paw.

Aeron watched as the blue-green wulfin ran off. He heard a howl of pain, and then the wulfine came back. He heard the silver one say something, but he didn't hear what she said; and he didn't really care, as a dead bird was being nudged toward him. Food! he thought as he began eating, taking huge mouthfuls as fast as he could. The word repeated itself in his mind as he polished off the meat and began trying to eat the bones. It hurt his mouth as he tried to snap a bone, and he wasn't quite sure if it was edible, but at the moment he didn't care.

Yue laughed to herself, "No, dont eat the bones," She told the kit. She padded off for a moment and came back with a small rabbit, one of the easiest things for her to catch while in a hurry.
"Here, but don't eat too fast," She dropped the rabbit in front of the kit. Yue sat in some tall grass, waiting for the kit to finish eating so they could get him to wherever he belonged, since a kit usually wouldnt live alone.

Apollo sat next to Yue, painfully picking out the thorns that had stabbed deep into his skin. Little dots of scarlet speckled his blueish green pelt. He hadn't even hunted and he still embarrassed himself in front of Yue. I wonder where Artemis is. Maybe she would know what to do with the kit... Apollo looked at the blue wulfin scarfing down food. "What's your name, kit?" He wasn't sure the youth heard his question because even though Yue warned him about eating to fast, he was still eating faster than Apollo has ever eaten in his entire life. Which was a near impossible feat.

Aeron obediantly stopped trying to eat the bones. "Why not? I'm still hungry." his voice was a tiny squeak. Suddenly the blue-green wulfine appeared, dots of... blood... speckling his coat. Aeron's eyes grew wide with fear when he snapped the question. The silver wulfin was nice and reminded him of his mother, but the blue-green one just scared him. Aeron scrambled to get between Silver's paws. She would protect him, wouldn't she?

Yue looked down, "Hey!" She said, as the little wulfin seemed to try to hide behind her. She prodded him forward with her paw, "Its okay," She reassured him.
"Whats your name?" yue asked him softly. She looked down at the kit with kind eyes, trying not to scare him.

Apollo was confused. No one has ever feared him before. Many were intimidated by his sister, Artemis, but no him, never him. It was a strange feeling... being scary. "You're strange, kit. If you think I'm scary you're gonna be full of terror when you meet Artemis." Apollo giggled, if Artemis had heard him say that she would have ripped his throat out. He loved to dis Artemis when she couldn't do anything about it. "She's the scariest, ugliest thing you'll ever see!" He said, his voice filled with spookiness.

"Aeron." He looked into Silver's kind eyes and began crawling out when Blue called him strange and began taunting him. Full of renewed fear, he ran back to his hiding spot under Silver. "If Artemis scares you, then I want to be her friend." He mused. Blue was outright scaring him, and he wished Silver would make him stop.

"Aww," Yue laughed, "Apollo, I think you should be more sensitive." She stepped back and looked at Aeron, "Im Yue, and this is Apollo," She motioned to Apollo with her paw, "Nice to meet you Aeron."
