Here are my ideas.
Beta Fish
Vigilante. Kills 1 person a night. Alignment not yet determined. Dies if they attack the Serial Killer.
Plankton
Plankton get around by latching themselves on to the bellies of bigger fish. Each night Plankton may choose a fish to latch onto; if Plankton is targeted, that fish will be affected instead.

I think for plankton you mean an actual remora. I think there are kind that latch onto regular fish, not too sure.

I really wanted one, we haven't been able to get one due to price/aggressiveness and it wasn't a very friendly fish, and it's an advanced fish.
I can take over for what fish we'll be using now, if that's okay. :3 I can most likely give them roles too, but I won't be too sure if the roles are compatible, so I might use that role thingy that you linked, and just insert fish that are like the role.
I can include pics too. :D
So
Ghost knife Fish: Can turn invisible to save himself for one night, but can only do this once. Can also choose to hide a fish behind himself, this can be done more than once.
I'll think of some more. I want to use algae feeders.

No I mean the microscopic bacteria that eat the dirt that accumulates on the bottom of whales and dolphins and s**t like that and use it to get around.

Ohhh okay. Makes sense. xD Remora are kinda bit for a tank anyways.
What size of tank are we talking about? o.O Like, the tropical ones you see in the movies that are like, a wall huge, or the size from the dentist's office in Finding Nemo?

I'm not really sure. Beta fish are small, so if we were gonna do a Seaworld-sized tank we'd probably need a stronger vigilante, like a shark or something.

Yeah.
Do you want it to be some retard just threw a bunch of fish together for the evilulz? That way the basis can be that each school are trying to win a part of the tank, or if you're a shark or something bigger than the little fish, dominate the whole tank.
If there was a shark, we could have a dolphin. Sort of a Mad Roleblocker I guess. They can stop the Shark maybe once every two nights, but if they pick a regular fish there's a chance they eat it? o.O
