So our end of the year concert is next week, but I'm pretty disapointed about it.

See, we went to Anaheim Heritage festivals and played three pieces(we got silver).Well, our bd decided that we will play those same peices for the end of the year cocnert. This is the last concert until winter enxt year. I'm sad now, because i wanted to play some new pieces. I'm getting tired of the same three.

I'm in two band classes, and we are combining them for the concert as well. which means i get to lay the same peices and work on the same spots for two hours everyday. It is getting boring and annoying.

Anyone have any ideas tha can help me not rip my hair out before this concert?

I know how you feel. If I knew anything that would help I'd tell you, but think of it this way, at least you weren't in mb with us this past season. All of us in the pit about shot and mutilated the former section leader because when he came back to help us he made us play scales for the first 4 hours of practice for Two Weeks! It's okay to do scales for a little while, but he made us play them until lunch so he gave me hell to pick up on because when he left I was the one leading them. They didn't know crap and it was all his fault. We had barely two months to learn the first two movements for our first competition.

You can do random things with the people around you. That's what I do to make boring parts of band go by faster. I brought a little squirt gun to class the other day, and I shot my friends when I got bored. You can try something like that.
