 Let Us Do Battle!Okay. I've decided that we definitely need a banner for our guild. Since I can't do any work with computers, I can't make the banner because it would look like crap. So this is where you all come in. I'm pitting you up against each other in a (friendly) battle to the gruesome, painful death (like pokemon).
I want you to design a banner for this guild. simple and straightforward as that. We're in desprate need of one. To make this a little more interesting, the winning contestant will recieve a 10k gold prize, while the runners up will all recieve virtual hugs.
Please, this is all a friendly battle to the agonizing death, so be nice to each other. Violaters will be shot (verbally) and survivors will be forced to listen to Hannah Montanah for the rest of their (internet) lives.
So go. Battle. Let it rip (I don't mean farts). Give me what you've got!

Just so you all know, this friendly battle to the painfully gruesome death is still going on. I don't have a deadline set, but the winner will recieve 10k. If the artwork is worth much more than that, than I will pay even more (ranging in the 100k range, if it's good enough. Maybe even higher).

Pressing On by Relient KDimensions? (I was very active on this one forum where one definition of a 'banner' was 80 x 30 pix (... 80 width 30 height?), and that's far too small for my liking D:.
Well, if you can't give an exact number, about how is it intended to be used? In siggies? In the top of each uberimportant post?If I could fall into the sky

It would be used for advertisement as well as the banner for the guild overall. What I would do if I were you was make one that would suit the guild size requirements, and then resize it for advertisement through siggies to the largest size possible.

Do we still need a banner? Or are we keeping the one we have now?
I'd be happy to make us a fancy-pancy one. For as far as I can make fancy-pancy banners, that is. Though if we had some art of the characters we're using that'd be sexier than some random people/effects.
What are the guild size requirements anyway?

Hmm, you're right, it would be sexier if we did this banner with the characters in it. I guess I'll bring this thread back to life again once the character designs are decided on.
