I came up with this idea a few weeks ago and I finalized it last night with help from Zoro. It is now ready for voting so please take a look at it. I also have a selfish request: if you guys like it or don't like it, tell me why. I can use that input for future refrence.

So here, we, go.

Gerod, the main villain has formed a cult dedicated to worshiping the masked gods (hollows). He knows that hollows feed on human souls and believes that if he can summon a menos grande by sacrificing a large number of people, then he will be rewarded. He also thinks that ryoga are people who have been blessed by the masked gods and should also take part in his plans. The name of the cult is "Followers of the Masked Ones" (FOMO).

They believe that If they can somehow summon a hollow (or a "masked god as they like to call them), they will be given a divine reward for their services. At first it was harmless preaching and chanting, but now their activities have escalated to attempting to summon a hollow via sacrificial ritual. A number of people have already been sacrificed and already they are starting to attract the attention of hollows in the area. The hollows can easily be taken care of but more and more show up by the day, stronger, and in larger numbers. Now Gerod plans to go the full nine yards by sacrificing fifty people at once. The Gotei 13 are moving to stop Gerod before he can do this by stopping him from gathering the sacrifices required to complete the rite or by defeating Gerod himself. If they cannot stop Gerod from completing the rite, then there is a good chance a Menos or something worse will appear and many more people will die in it's wake.

The cult consists of a grandmaster, his four priests, and their minions. There are about 30 or so minions in total. The Grandmaster saw a Menos Grande when he was a boy and has worshiped hollows ever since. The priests who follow him have also seen hollows, and most of the minions are just crazy people who have been pulled into believing the grandmaster's preaching. The Grandmaster and his priests are also ryoga and have spiritual powers of their own.


The rp begins when the Gotei 13 first recive word that hollows are increasing in number at an unusual rate and appear to be gathering around a certain point in the area. The cause of this is of course the cult and it’s rituals. The gotei 13 must kill the hollows that are gathered, protect civilians from the hollows and the cult, and take care of the cult itself.

has the power to create a broadsword made out of spiritual energy, the sword can fire a lethal beam of energy from it's tip. Can also influence a person using existing negative emotions. He also has the ability to infuse a fraction of his power into hollow-like masks, which he distributes to his minions. The masks grant increased physical speed and strength. However, if the masks are worn too long, the person wearing the mask will become hollows with no control of their actions. He also has stronger masks that he has for himself and the four priests. His mask gives him the power to control hollows.

has the power change her fingernails into long razor sharp blades that glow with purple light and can expand to a maximum length of 5 meters. These nails/blades also contain miasma that poisons the victim’s reatsu, causing dizziness, burning muscle pain, and fatigue. With the aid of a mask, she can move with greater speed and her poisonous nails become painfully lethal.

He can also create energy spheres and fire them from the palms of his hands. His mask grants him even greater strength, defense, and size.

Has the power to increase his speed to rival a shinigami, a skilled assassin equipped with daggers, claws, and other hidden weapons. His mask rejuvenates his body and reverses the aging process, allowing him to fight as though he were still in his prime; Liu's
skills in the body in the young man are a deadly combination. The mask also provides a speed boost.

Has the power to mentally attack a person using their worst fears and their most painful memories. She also has the power to bring those nightmares into the physical world. This way, they can attack other people as well. Imagine being attacked by Reddeye's worst nightmare. Her mask allows her to create her own pocket dimension where her nightmare powers are intensified to the point where the victim will have a hard time knowing what’s real or not.


RP spots: Five people will be needed to take the roles of Gerod and his priests.

Edit: There will also be spots open for minions, five at the least. If anyone want's to be a foot soldier, they'll have to come up with their own profile.

Edit: If the Espada want to get involved, the following changes will be made to the plot:

The Espada have leaned about Gerod and his cult and have decided that it would benifit them if humans worshiped them. Therefore, they go to the human world to suport Gerod against the Gotei 13.
