Julian wanders across the Weyr bowl. His newest flit tucked in the crook of his arm, stuffed to the jaw on meat scraps. His other, Shashee, circles over head squeeking and cheeping at him.
"Really Shashee! She's ok. She's asleep comfortably and safely. Not only that she's too stuff to even think about trying to fly." He gives a large sigh. Maybe taking this new flit was a bad idea. Shashee had given him no peace since she'd hatched. "Well if your that upset about it, You can go hunt up her next meal!"
He glares at the green circling over head.Shashee rustles her pinions at him as she makes another loop around. She just might! What would he know about feeding her anyhow? Julian shakes his head, deciding not to remind the flit that he'd fed her just fine before this one came along.

kazek gets out of bed and looks around. he sees his newly hatched flitt who is sitting on its perch looking at him with a look in its eyes that says "well its about time that you woke up im hungery" she squeeks at him annoyed with his tardeness in getting her a meal.
he rolls over in bed and looks the the ceiling for awhile only to get another agitated squeek from cisca. "ok ok im up im up ill get you something to eat how about we look around the bowl for something sound good to you?" he askes getting an excited several squeeks and chatters at his comment about going into the bowl, although she wasnt too sure about the finding food there. as it was her first time in the bowl she wasnt to sure what to expect.
Kazek gets out of bed and heads over to the perch that Cisca is currently bouncing on with excitement. "you are way to hyper for this time of day you know that we will have to teach you the finer points of sleep you know you cant always wake me up every half hour." he points out to her. at hearing this stops bouncing and just glares at him before flying over to him at his gesture. with his flitt in tow they head out into the bowl to explore

Shashee gives another lap around Her's head. She was gonna watch him closely, just in case..... Another man and green enters the bowl from an entrance near them. She sees its another baby and zips over to investigate. Shashee cheeps at the green as she circles around.
Julian blinks as he suddenly gets ditched. "Shashee?" He spots her approaching and pestering another young man. "Oh boy." Lengthening his stride he makes it over. "Hullo. Sorry about her. She's rather obsessed with young for some reason. I'm Julian, and the green above you is Shashee."

"its no problem shes alot like my green" he states as he looks to Cisca then back to Shashee. "so who is the other one your holding...... oh im sorry where are my manners my name is Kazek and this (points to his right sholder) is my green Cisca."
looking back to shashee " she is really entertaining isnt she? anyway what are you doing in the bowl?"

Julian grins. "Yeah, entertaining. Or something like that..." Pauses as Shashee sets up squawking at him. Flashes Kazek a knowing grin. "Well settle down Shashee, and we'll stop picking on you. This little dear is Trissum. She hatched not long ago."
Her eyes whirl orangish. Indeed! She flutters down to Her's shoulder and flips her wings properly to her back. She cheeps at the two.
Julian chuckles at Shashee's prim manor and reaches up to pet her wings. "Nice to meet you Kazek. We were just heading back from the kitchens and feeding Trissum." A little green head peaks up over his arm and looks at the other two. Eyes whirl blue and slowly. She really had a full tummy.

chuckles at Shashee's reaction to the comments that were made "oh heading back from the kitchens huh thats exactly where we were going"
Cisca looked at Kazek with a confused look on her face as if to say "but i thought you said we were going to look for food in the bowl" Cisca looks to the green in Julian arms and flys over to her and cherps a hello to both Shashee and Trissum
"so do you wanna do something after i feed Cisca? we could let our flitts play" looking at the green flitt tucked under her arm and with a chuckle says " that is once she can move again"

Julian blinks, "Well um. I guess I can go with you, but I doubt Trissum is going to play much. She's so stuff on meat right now I'm not sure she could even walk." He chuckles. "Once she's done sleeping off that batch she'll likely wanna be fed again. As for Shashee..." Glances at the green flit out of the corner of his eye. "Well I'm not sure how she is playing. Mostly she nags me."

"hehe well if thats the case then she should fit in with Cisca just fine thats all she does too. she nags me to get up, feed her, play, and just about anything else that she wants to do" he states as he glances to Cisca
Cisca looks back down at him from circling over head squeeking a reply to his comment to herself"well if you werent so lazy i wouldent have to motivate you all the time"
Kazek hearing this just chuckles at the agitated squeeks coming from his green who has now taken roost in a nearby tree. "well if you want to come with then your more than welcome to i can see nothing wrong with it... he that is if i can stop Cisca from pouting.looks to Cisca Cisca are you hungery or are you going to stay in that tree all day?"
Cisca still pouting cherps at Kazek but flies over to him anyway and they start heading for the kitchen

Julian gives a shrug and does an about-face on one foot. It couldn't hurt to go along. Maybe I can sooth Shashee with a tidbit or two. And I could use another cup of klah. He strolls after Kazek and wonders where he was in the barracks.
"So you a candidate? How long have you had Cisca?" Julian recalls how demanding Shashee had been when she'd first hatched. Unfortunately it hadn't worn off. Trissum seemed to be a much more mellow flit. As long as she had a full belly and oiled hide, she was content to sleep anywhere.
Speaking of being oiled... She wanted to be oiled! Not go back into the kitchens. There was alot of noise there, people not Her's moving around constantly. She gives Her's a demanding cheep.
Julian sighs and speaks quietly, "I'm just going along to make sure he doesn't have any troubles, K? After that then I'll give you and Triss a bath and oiling." He hopes Kazek didn't over-hear that.

kazek walks into the kitchens and looks up to cisca "so what do you want to ea...." he says as his eyes watch as cisca cherps "i want this one this one this one" as she hovers over a setup of meet. noticing julian had followed him he turns and asks "is that even edible for a flitt... it looks more like something that you or i would eat? oh well it cant hurt to give it a try. as he starts walking over to where cisca is hovering

Julian laughs. "Oh they could eat it, but come with me. I'll show you where to go." He waves his hand in a guest for Kazek to follow him. Leading the other lad to the kitchens themselves. "Usually you can ask a kitchen drudge and they'll know what to get you. But I'll show you myself this time."
Going past the busy cooks and scurrying drudges, he heads to meat storage room. "There see the small covered bowls? That's what you need. One bowl per flit. Course once the staff gets to know you and know if you have more than one, they'll make up a single bowl big enough for all of 'em." Reaching in Julian grabs a bowl.
He proffers it to the other. "Now all you need to do is find a quiet table and feed her. Someone will usually leave you a cup of klah and food."
