ok im going to refer to my friends as grey, black, and purple
I recently told grey something about black. They arent really friends but she is ok with him so i know she wouldnt tell anyone. Well at the time i didnt realize black would be embarrassed if this got out. So some how it got out and black was mad at me but i said sorry and now we're ok again. So i thought it was cool but last night i was talking to purple about it (she already knew this embarrassing secret) and she said she would be mad too. Thats when i realized i'll never be able to take it back. And i feel really bad because i love black and i dont want this ruining our friendship forever. What do i do?? sad

Once its out its out. There's nothing you can do to take it back. Unless you have a time machine. Other than that, there's nothing you can do.
But, if Black already forgave you for it, then none of your other friends have any say. Its between you and black. They need to accept that and move on. By not doing so, it is just dragging the issue through the mud and making it worse.
Also, in the future, always think before you speak. Reflect on the secret and understand the owner's wishes.

Like always there is nothing that can take said words back
i hate to use such a term but what it sounds to me is that you regret gossiping about this person
however the person said they let it go and you did apologize so in truth there is no problem because who cares what others think? it's you and black, no one else that are mainly the ones who decide if this incident is any problem
just like Iolanthe said, yeah i know, but i do wanna add to his last line
before you speak dont think about you, think about who you're speaking about and who you're speaking to
Grey and Black werent really friends but were okay, there is a reason for that, as we see, so for future references this advice will help
sadly said words cant be unsaid cut wounds cant be uncut but they can be healed or mended, in this case, the mending has begun just dont think about it and t'll die out and no scar will be left
