Becoming a Moderator has many benefits, including the chance of promotion even farther into the guild. Moderators also have authority in the guild. This authority is managed in what I call our chain of command. The chain currently looks like this:

Tylerxterror327 and Jackamus The Pirate have equal and ultimate authority in the guild. If they are absent the next person in the chain is responsible for decisions and moderating in the guild. If upon their return, Jackamus The Pirate and Tylerxterror327 disaprove of the actions of one of the Moderators, they may overturn it. However, this must be agreed to by both of them.

Those wishing to become a moderater must meet the following requirements:

1. You must be nominated by two fellow members. Simply tell whoever is nominating you to send The Captain and or Vice Captain a message stating their wishes. Any member of the guild may nominate you, including the Captain and Vice Captain.

2. You must have demonstrated excellent literacy, understanding of Atlas and its rules, and proficient Role Playing skills. The Vice Captain and Captain will review your past posts and decide if you meet these criteria.

3. You must also be very active on Gaia, this will be reviewed by checking your posts on the forums in general.

If you meet these criteria, the top five members of the guild will take a vote, majority rules. This vote will determine if you are accepted or denied.
