Yeah...the difference between anime and manga is basically the same thing as, for instance, the Harry Potter movies and the books.
So there will be some similarities, but probably some differences.

I would like to say tho. vampire knight came out BEFORE twilight (: lol. the japanese version came out in the early 2000s ^^. much of shoujo beats work is made in japan then translated in california.
