Guitarhero356 I've personally always had a hard time believing in evolution only to a degree. "POOF! AND WE WERE HERE!", I just have a hard time belieivng that, although I do see similiaritys between apes and humans that are sort of interesting at times. God can use the same thing to make apes that he used to make us that is why there are some similarities, I would go into detail but I don't feel like it.

Tessar So we were discussing some "evidence" for the evolutionist, and one thing was that our DNA is like... 94% similar to apes. (I don't think that was the exact percent... I'll double check) then we said how we have SO MUCH DNA that 94% is a REALLY huge difference. like... massive. so it really doesn't matter.
The most interesting part? Banana's have 50% similar DNA to humans. xd so does that mean we're part banana? or that banana's are part human??
One more thing: I didn't really understand the science behind it, but Sandy (who was teaching us) was saying that similar DNA point to a common creator, because we need the similarities for us to be able to eat the food and use the nutriction etc.
yes. nuff ranting for today. ^^ Well, think about it, are not we all made of cells, and do not all cells fuction simarily. So it would make sense we would be so close.

Cradoc Also the evolutionist theory states everything practicly evolved from stardust 1)this makes them star worshipers 2)this means everytime they eat anything that they are being cannibalistic and to be a evolutionist humanitarian you'd have to cease to exist because it you died then you'd be causing earthworms to be cannibalistic No, you speak of ambionic generation. The theory behind it is funny, becuase it involves so much chance. But still, what a 100% evolutionist believes is that all matter and energy came from a single point of concentration, a system of no entropy, that burst. But if it had no entropy, no disorder, how did it create more?

Tessar hm. thats funny too.
oh yea, I remember the creations lesson.. You can't be an Evolutionist Christian, (like, god can't have used evolution to create us) because:
-death is the driving force in Evolution. it's always there. all through time -god says that death is the enemy, and will be destoyed -death came because of adams sin. AFTER everything was made.
SO god did not use death to create us. I'm sure there was more stuff in that lesson, but thats the majority of what I retained. sweatdrop I would really like to see where you found this. Anyways, only Adam and Eve can we be sure did not die in the Garden.

Which personally I don't think is too wise. Do you mean evolution in creating us, the ones in His image, or birds and beast. I can understand if you are referring to humans, but for the rest, this does not have to be the truth (notice the half to be).

Tessar @ Raver Rouge: I think that's right... I remember someone mentioning something about flies being our "closest ancestor", therefore showing that evolution is kinda silly... we'd have evolved from flies. sweatdrop *shrug* thats all I remember...
I am sorry, but number of chromosomes have nothing to do with relationships.

Cradoc Kichigai-han Though I know some realy conservative Christians who say you shouldn't realy kiss until your married and shouldn't make out in public at all. The wierd thing is their like 15-20 years old eek . This isn't bad just wierd and not Biblicly supported. That and they say P.O.D is a bad band because they had someone making out in one of their music videos and thus don't classify them as Christian band because they set a bad example. This is why I say I am a little bit Liberal. What about the ones who just want to save their kiss till marriage. I my self see nothing wrong with kissing, just not to passionately.

Cradoc actually some scientist now say we evolved from frogs which kinda makes since if you look at their leg structure but how did our head change, how did we go from being amphibious to less amphibious, and how did we get these ever so useful opsoable thumbs? I would really not listen to those scientist, that are you might have misunderstood them. Anyways, there will be some people who just don't know what they are talking about, and you should never base anything off of them.

Thats not the real part that bothers me. The part that bothers me is the fact they go against a Christian band for simply going against a promise they took to themselves and for kissing which isn't against the Bible. xd

It does say Death is the enemy... and... it said death came because of adams sin, and was not there previously... and to have evolution you have natural selection, the weaker dying off, meaning there was death, which the Bible says there wasn't until Adam sinned... which brings me back to that. So yea... *shrug*
EDIT: oh, I get what you mean... human... animals... yea. uhm, intersting. I'll think about that.
