"I don't trust many people- and with good reason. People are bloodthirsty and born with evil intent. While you're right about that damned intuition of yours, I've still got the entirety of Seireitei to take care of." Looking over the third seat, Sanzo gave a wry smile. He liked this girl. "I suppose that will have to be good enough for now, huh?" He reclined back on the couch, finding Mikoto's to be much more comforting than his own, and he made a mental note to have this changed. Sanzo rolled his eyes in the general direction of Yaro, holding out the papers. "If you want the damn things that bad, be my guest. Saves me a trip doing it..Jeez, kid, you need to get laid..or find a hobby. You worry too much about this s**t."
Arriving to Mikoto's office, Kira wasn't surprised that he began to be flooded with memories. It was good to know that Seireitei had generally remained the same. Waiting for the arguing to die down, the blonde hesitantly knocked before opening the door a fraction, bowing slightly. "If I've come at a bad time, I can come back later.." He felt the tension in the air, fidgeting in place- not sure if he should enter, or apologize and leave.

Violet eyes turned to the sliding doors as they opened, revealing the blonde that had just been in Juunibantai not too long ago. His shy tone began to dissipate some of the tension in the air, but that was short-lived. His presence was enough to bring it back and to make matters worse, the man was just being spoken of.
Mikoto's gaze locked with the azure eyes that stood not too far from her. The expression on her face obviously spoke, 'You were released this soon?' However, she quickly figured the answer. So... her fukutaichou actually had the guts to sneak out. But... with Ryusei and Ritsuka remaining, those two were sure to create some kind of opening for him to escape. Shaking her head at that thought, she motioned for Kira to enter the office.
"Come on in since you're here, Kira-kun," the redhead said with a calm tone. "It's not really a bad time, ne soutaichou-san~?"
The woman glanced at the seated blonde with a kindly smile that she knew would make him look away with an "I don't give a damn" expression. Although he was her superior, the Sanbantai taichou loved to mess with Sanzo from time to time, it was too much fun.

Yaro grabbed the papers instantly, as though he were drowning in a vast sea, and those papers would save his life. he instantly went to the desk that would soon be Izuru's. he would miss it. his attention suddenly all focused on the last remaining lines of the forms, ignoring everyone else in the room.
" I appreciate your concern, Sanzo-taichou, but if it weren't for people like me, Soul Society would not be half as effective. Besides... I don't have time to "get laid" as you put it." the young man muttered. without even looking up, he nodded to Izuru." Don't worry Lieutenant, this is about to become your workspace, I didn't have any personal effects, so its free for you to move right in."
The third seat scrawled his name on the last line of the forms, and with much haste, gathered up everything he needed. He looked ragged, as he rushed, the dark circles in his eyes pronounced in the sunlit room." Im sorry for the rush, Taichou, but I'd really like to get this in before closing time. and Lieutenant, please, take your rightful place."
With that, Yaro rushed from the office with out so much as a good bye, a mere blur of silver hair and a black shihakusho as he dashed towards the office for submitting files to the Central 46.

Quote: Ritsuka waved off his long-time friend in dismissal, "Yeah, yeah, okay. It's not as fun when they don't react, though." He gave the Nibantai a playful pout, though he didn't see it as they were both poked and the pink-haired scientist made a noise similar to a whining child, batting at the offending finger. "It's not nice to assault a taichou, no da!" At her comment about his best friend being covered in too much dirt, he wrinkled his nose at the offending mess Ryusei was covered in. "Well, swine, you know where my shower is. You're not unfamiliar with my quarters after all this time, are you~?" "Oh no, I am quite familiar with them, but it almost sounds as if you're trying to insinuate something." Ryusei didn't mind that he was just called a swine, it was certainly not the worst thing he has ever been named; but he could tell and knew that Ritsuka was just jesting. "Normally I'd wash up back in my own quarters, but I'm avoiding the mass of paperwork that is bound to be waiting for me." He moved away from his friend and started to head towards Ritsuka's quarters. "Hey, how about you order us some food. I will pay. I will leave some money in the table for ya. That way we can talk over dinner. I'm starving for real food and haven't spoken to someone enjoyable since... well... the last time I talked to you." The small taichou stopped and looked back towards Ritsuka, waiting for a reply before he disappeared behind the door. If anyone else were to see him behaving this way, they'd thing something was wrong with him. Only rarely did he act so civil.

Raucous laughter sounded at Sanzo's remark to Yaro. It was true. The Sanbantai sanseki was a keener when it came to these things. In a sense though, it was a good thing for Mikoto. Suzuran was pretty sure not even half the paperwork would have made it anywhere if not for Yaro. She almost laughed herself hoarse when the Amazon of a woman heard Yaro's reply to the soutaichou. Oh gods, this was hilarious. Trying very, very hard to reign in her laughter, she waved a hand at the blond soutaichou.
"Oh, c'mon . . . hahaha . . . Let'm be, soutai~ Yaro's right, 'e's th' reas'n Sanbantai's in good order," she winked teasingly at Yaro. "'Sides, wit'hat rod tha' mus'be shoved up'is arse? 'E prol'ly gets laid ev'ry time 'e walks! Kahahahaha!!"
As she rolled onto her back on the sofa, Suzuran finally noticed there was someone at the door. Someone who, though she'd never met before, looked very, very, very familiar. All joking gone, the Kyuubantai Senseki was up, staring in disbelief as she drunk in the sight of someone she'd seen only in Seireitei records.
"Holy shat . . ." Her voice was an unreadable mixture of awe, shock, and excitement. "Frick, yer . . . yer'eally 'im . . . ! Kira 'Zuru!"
She wasn't sure how to react. A part of her wanted to simply drag the man in; it pissed her off that he was just standing there, half-in, half-out, looking so indecisive. Another part was admiring him for his past contributions to the Winter War. And yet another wanted to interrogate him about every detail he knew about her father. Regaining her composure though, she grinned broadly at him as she beckoned him in, shifting herself to offer the fukutaichou part of her sofa, since Sanzo had taken over the other one.
"Kira-fukutaichou, neh? 'Slike Mikoto said, c'mon in. None'uv us'll bite. Much." The last word was added in with a teasing smirk. "Ah, can'na say much 'bou' Grumpypants-soutaichou 'ere tho'. 'E's a snappy one."

Hearing an eerily familiar voice, Sanzo whirled around to look untrustingly at the sanbantai fukutaichou, glancing between the blonde and Mikoto. "Tch. Whatever." He looked away with the expected uncaring expression, though he made no move to leave. It never failed to make Sanzo go quiet than to kill him with kindness. Violet eyes happened to scan the small coffee table to the side of the soutaichou's seat, seeing the newest edition of The Seireitei Times. "Consider this confiscated until I've read it." He snatched the paper up, pulling out his silver-framed glasses and slid them on, diving into his favorite read. Every once in a while, he passed a sidelong glance over at Kira, expecting him to attack at any moment. "..Hmph. If it were up to people like you, I'd be sleeping with everyone's damn paperwork. Oi, oi! Show some respect, goddammit! That's Grumpypants-soutaichou sir, to you."
Kira walked fully into the office, closing the door behind him before he looked around the room, taking in all the differences five hundred years had created. "My sincerest apologies for interrupting your meeting with Sanzo-soutaichou." He offered both respective taichous a bow, looking over to the third seat with a weary smile. "There's no need to rush; I don't think I'll be in here as soon as you think. To be honest, it feels like I'm stealing from you since you've been working here so long." He ran a hand over the smooth surface of mahogany that he was so familiar with, a look of nostalgia passing over his face. There were so many emotions that he was feeling being surrounded in his element again, in the office that he used to share with Ichimaru. Azure eyes blinked in startled confusion at Suzuran's awe of him. He moved to sit next to her, though still leaving a respectable amount of space. "I think I'll be okay over here. After all, I have had my tetanus shots." And yet..she looked familiar somehow. His brow furrowed trying to remember where he may have seen the tenacious woman before. "Have I..seen you somewhere before? You look so familiar, but I can't seem to recall your face."
"Insinuating? Me? I shudder at the idea, Ryu-kun!" The pink-haired taichou had a mischievous smirk on his face as he made way to the hall that led to his own quarters. "You know how the shower runs, and make sure you clean up after you're finished! I can't tell you what I'll do to you if there's grime in my bathroom~!" Giving the other an innocent smile, Ritsuka tilted his head at his friend, leaving him to wonder just what the scientist would do. Normally, he wasn't one for threats, but as far as cleanliness went with him, that was an absolute must. Making his way through his lab and to the computer system, the taichou pulled the ponytail out of his hair, letting his hair fall properly back into place with a shake of his head. He moved through the many logs and programs to get to his files and journal on his recent project and started new documentation. "Project completed, new one to begin immediately. Test subject.." Violet eyes looked through the two-way mirror that showed the room that Kira had previously been in and his eye twitched at what was there. "..Missing." Heaving a sigh, he swept through the labs and into his secret passage, barging in on his friend. "Ryu-kun, we have a bit of a situation, I think."

Suzuran smirked at Sanzo, but though she flapped a hand at him as if waving him off, she relented. He deserved that much, at least.
"A'ight, a'ight, soutaichou-sir," she replied airily. "Can't b'lieve yer willin' t'mit yerra grumpypants tho'."
The Kyuubantai sanseki chuckled lightly, only to let out a loud snrrrrk! through her nose when Kira cracked his joke. It took Suzuran a few moments to feel his stare, and realize that he actually was staring at her. Her confusion echoed his as she gazed questioningly at the blond. Just when she was about to ask if she had something on her face, the fukutaichou spoke, and all Suzuran could do was stare at him in shock.
Familiar? Could it be that she had taken some traits from her father? She'd never really thought on her appearance much, other than looking presentable to the general public and her beauty mark on occasion. Growing up, she'd never really had anyone outside her mother say anything, most probably because her father was practically non-existent in their lives. He had been missing for a good half a millennium, after all . . . Realizing her most recent blunder, Suzuran grinned at the rather nervous man.
"Ah, I di'nna intr'duce m'self, did'ah?" she mused. The woman stuck a thumb to her chest as she did just that, still grinning good-naturedly. "Hisagi Suzuran, Kyuubantai Sanseki. Ye prol'ly know m'dad. Y'did fight 'longside 'im, af't'rall."

Yaro returned within a few moments, without even a slight wheeze from the speed he had moved to submit the paperwork, though his hair was now wind swept, and he had a slight flush to his cheeks. As he entered his captain's office again, He waved off Kira's comment as though he had never left the room.
"Don't worry Lieutenant, your not stealing from me, it is your rightful place, and I am happy that we have someone as diligent as you to carry the workload. At least it will be done efficiently, right?" he laughed, as he rounded on Suzuran.
" For your information, Miss Hisagi, I do not have a rod, or anything else, up my posterior, thank you very much. Why that is humerous to you, I have no idea, but I dont really care anyway." Yaro informed her with an almost out of character sniff of disdain.
He finally rounded to his own taichou, and with a salute, made his report," All paper work for today and tomorrow has been submitted, Mikoto-taichou, unless some surprise paperwork shows up, as a result of some unforseen circumstance."

In all honesty, the blonde was surprised at the fact that she was his best friend's daughter. Looking over the young woman's visage, Kira pinpointed what was so familiar about Suzuran and smiled in recognition. "You have Hisagi-san's eyes..It's a pleasure to meet you, Hisagi-chan." He gave her a seated bow, looking around the room and feeling his unease start to creep back. Looking over at his new third seat, Kira scratched the back of his head nervously. "Well, all I'm able to do is try to the best of my abilities, ne? Of course, I'd hate to disappoint Mikoto-taichou.."
Scoffing while he got his daily reading fix, he flippantly gave Suzuran a view of his middle finger directed toward her. "Grumpy my a**. It's you assholes who do it to me." Though his words were said in a pissed off manner, he was far from it. Mostly, he was joking around.
