Thanks for the links, that helps.
Gonna try and take this in the winter, so if I come across more information I'll try to post back here. My goal is to get to at least level 2 in the next two years... Not sure if that's gonna happen though :T

I like using http://www.tanos.co.uk/jlpt/, especially since they have something called a "level checker" where it checks how well you know the kanji, grammar, and vocabulary for each level of the JLPT. :3
