Curvy is...
  a confusing classification.

Alright. I dunno why but I feel like I can't technically call myself 'curvy' because I don't think I have a big enough chest to live up to the classification. But I have a waist like none other. WTF.

Okay so my band size is a 34, 32 on some makes and I take a 13 in juniors pants. (38/40 in guys pants XD)
I dunno.
What is the technical 'line'.
Would I be considered 'curvy'?
Because I have hips but they're proportioned so maybe it doesn't count...?

Your hips and the widest part of your bust should be within about an inch or two of each other to be proportional. I forget what the difference between band size and waist should be...

That picture is slightly angled from above, it seems, so I think it's making your hips look bigger than they really are.

It's because my legs are crossed but I wasn't going to go take a picture just to make my point.

Well then I'd be proportional.. right?
Because the guy pants go by the length around. if that's 38 or so.. and I'm a 34D/DD... It would match out?

I can't tell just by your bra size because most people wear the wrong bra size. But, I would assume that yes, you may be somewhere in the proportional range.

Well, my bra size goes along with every pointer in your thread. The only thing that's off would be just keeping it a D. If this makes any sense at all I'm a D in padded bras and a DD in non-padded.

I think my boobs are just weird.

There's no one way your body should be, that's ridiculous. You look great! Why not call yourself adorable or beautiful instead? Who cares if you are proportional or "curvy", or whatever. What is that even supposed to mean?

Anybody who would try to draw a line between what are and what aren't acceptable body shapes to have is really uncool. If anybody's telling you that, you should run over their foot with your car. For serious.

I was wondering this exact same thing but I couldn't have phrased it so eloquently. surprised

No one cares if your body is proportional. But more importantly, you shouldn't base whether or not you have a "good" body or not based on standards that few people believe in.

I didn't know proportional had an actual measurement. I thought looking proportional was just a matter of judgement on each person. Like, someone might have MASSIVE boobs on a small frame and so they look disproportionate. But someone else with the same sized boobs and the similar frame, might look proportional simply because of things like... the clothes they wear, how they carry themselves etc.

Curvy to me has always been a nice way to say someone is fat (because the women who are being called, "curvy," are actually shapeless blobs, but to justify it, people say, "nono, you're curvy~")

You are not fat. You look proportionate, though, I haven't seen a non-angled or non-blurry picture of you, so idk. In what I've seen, you look fine.

Every woman is already naturally curvy. When someone titles themselves curvy I wonder if they really are, or if they are making an excuse for themselves like Sonnen said.

I know this one girl who said she hated wearing short shorts in highschool because she would always get in trouble and get told to change.
And her friend is all 'Hmm. Strange, I never got told that.'
Then she was all 'It's because you have no booty! ;['

Now I thought the 2nd girl was curvier than the 1st girl. It was just the 1st girl was bigger, so of course she is going to have a bigger a**. The 2nd girl was just petite, so it got looked over- but if it were by ratio the 2nd girl in reality would win at being curvy.

Now big hips? Well that's just big hips.

What would you have said if we were all like 'Oh god you're so fat/obviously have disproportionate hips!'? I dunno, love yourself. Don't ask us if you look the way you're "supposed to".
