Robert Gallifrey Rustboro City
Robert sat in the Pokemon Center cafeteria, celebrating his victory with his Pokemon over a hot meal of ramen noodles, berry jelly sandwiches and for the pokemon, his home-made pokefood.
"Next up on the list is Dewford Gym. We'll have to take a boat ride to get there, and there should be a port off to the south of Rustboro." Robert explained to his chowing pokemon. "Then, that second badge is as good as mine."
As Robert ate, a news show played on the TV about an unveiling at Devon Corp concerning their reviver machine. Robert looked at the boat schedule and then at the clock. Well, since the next boat doesn't leave for a while, let's check it out." he spoke as he finished up his meal and washed it down with some apple juice. After cleaning up his mess and that of his pokemon, Robert recalled his pokemon and headed for Devon Corp.

After enjoying a nice meal, Cade and his team started to make their way to Roxanne's gym. "I wonder where this gym is," he questioned aloud. Combusken shrugged his shoulders and just gave his trainer a clueless look. The teen stopped. "Oh, here it is," he said, walking up to the trainer school. The trainer returned his Combusken and walked into the institution.
A young woman walked up to Cade, throwing the trainer a smile. "Hello, how may I help you?"she asked him. Cade turned and returned the woman's smile. "Oh yes, I was wondering where Roxanne was. I was hoping to challenge her to a gym battle," he said to her. The woman chuckled. "Well, it seems that I have yet another challenger. I am Roxanne and I would be happy to accept your challenge," she said to him. Cade nodded, his smile growing wider. "Thank you," he said.
Cade was led into a small stadium, surrounding my bleachers. These bleachers were filled with aspiring trainer's, all eager to see their leader's next gym battle. "This will be a two-on-two battle. If you win, I shall award you with the Stone Badge. I wish you luck in our battle," the gym leader said, smiling warmly. "Good deal. I wish you the same luck," he said.
"Geodude, I choose you!" the leader called, sending out the rock Pokemon. "Eevee, come on out!" Cade said, sending out his newly acquired Pokemon. The trainer was confident that the newest addition to his team would do well.
"You first," he said. Roxanne nodded and smiled. "Geodude, Rollout!" she commanded. The rock-type curled up into a ball and shot towards the Eevee. Cade gritted his teeth. "This leader wastes no time." he thought to himself. "Eevee, dodge using Quick Attack!" he called. Eevee dodged the attack. Roxanne merely smiled. "You won't get rid of him that easily," she said. Cade knew that and he was ready for the rebound. He watched as the Geodude turned on a dime and came barreling back towards the normal-type.
The Geodude was getting closer and Cade still had not called out a command. "Eevee, jump and use Shadow Ball in front of Geodude!" he commanded suddenly. The Eevee nodded, hopping up into the air. Roxanne arched a brow. She was wondering what this trainer was up to. The Eevee used Shadow Ball on the ground, kicking up dust and debris and creating a small crater in the ground. "Oh no!" Roxanne exclaimed. "Oh yes," Cade said. Geodude would hit the crater and be sent flying upwards. The Geodude was going too fast, he had gained too much momentum and the rock Pokemon would not have time to stop.
The Geodude hit the small crater as planned, flying up into the air as a result. Cade smiled. "Eevee return. Combusken, come on out!" he said. Eevee was returned and the fire-type was let out. "Double kick!" he commanded. The Combusken took off with surprising speed, hopping into the air when he got closer to the Geodude. The Combusken kicked the spinning Geodude with one leg and spun, kicking the Geodude down into the crater the Eevee made. The Pokemon hit the floor with a thud, fainting from the powerful kicks delivered by the Combusken.
Roxanne returned Geodude and smiled. "Very good Cade, but my next Pokemon will not be so easy," she said, sending out a Pokemon that Cade had never seen before. "What is that?" Cade mumbled. He had never seen a Nosepass before. The trainer smiled confidently. "Well, whatever it is, me and my Pokemon will defeat it," he said with a smile.

(English isn't his primary language. Spelling isn't the easiest thing to do in this language either.)
Remus smiled and introduced himself to Lance, "Nice to meet you, too. Well, we've got to get going. I want to see my uncle before the big unveiling."
Remus walked up a few floors in the Devon Corp. building and reached his uncle's office to find that it was empty. After a few more minutes of searching the building, a familiar face walked up and greeted Remus, "Remus! How have you been? You're uncle is on the roof with President Devon. They're preparing for the presentation, come on, I'll take you there," it was none other than Remus's best friend and uncle's secretary, Leila. Remus gave Leila a friendly hug, and they took the elevator to the roof. On the way up, Remus introduced his three pokemon to Leila and informed her of his travels so far.
Upon reaching the roof, Remus and Leila sat themselves in the first row of bleachers and waved to his uncle before he walked behind a large curtain, which was where the Reviver machine was located.

((Oi'ght))
Lance shrugged as they ran past him. He continued on, heading to Dewford. He was one of the first ones to see the Reviver, so it didn't matter to him about a big "unveiling" publicity stunt. He continued one through the woods, and saw a Charmander. Lance stopped. "Oh?" he launched out a pokeball, and out came his Ralts. "Ralts, confusion," he commanded. The attack was launched, but the Charmander dodged. A man walked out of the woods. "So," he said. "Attacking my pokemon, eh?" He nodded to his Charmander, then looked at Lance. "Lets battle."
Lance nodded, he kept his Ralts, and the battle began.

"Combusken, return," Cade called. A bright beam of light hit the Combusken, drawing him back into his Pokeball. The trainer smiled and placed the sphere back onto his belt, grabbing another identical sphere with his opposite hand. "Eevee, come on out," he said, sending his Pokeball flying into the air. Out of the Pokeball emerged his Eevee. The Pokemon smiled and swished his tail happily.
"Your move," Cade said to Roxanne. The gym leader smiled and looked at the trainer. "Nosepass, Lock-On and Zap Cannon!" she commanded. Cade gritted his teeth. Oh s**t, think Cade," he thought to himself. "Eevee, dig!" he said. The normal-type quickly dug into the ground, barely avoiding the attack.
The Eevee hopped up out of the ground and cocked his head at the Nosepass. It certainly was an odd looking Pokemon. The brown Poke glanced over at his trainer, waiting for a command.
Cade had to think. There was no way his Eevee could inflict any damage on the Nosepass and if that Zap Cannon attack hit, it would be all over. Cade looked at the Nosepass, his eyes widening slightly. He think he knew how to defeat the Pokemon.
"Eevee use dig and tunnel around behind the Nosepass, stay close to the ground, do not dig too deep," he said. The Eevee nodded and dug into the ground, following his trainer's orders. Roxanne cocked her head, she did not know what the trainer was up to. A few seconds passed before Eevee popped out of the ground. Roxanne took her chance.
"Nosepass, Lock-On and Zap Cannon!" she commanded. The Nosepass nodded and shot the attack at the Eevee. "Return!" Cade called, returning his Pokemon before it got hit by the attack. "You can't protect your Pokemon forever," she said. Cade nodded, he knew it was true.
"Combusken, I choose you!" he said. Combusken kicked the air furiously. "Lock-On and Zap Cannon!" Roxanne called, wasting no time. Cade could not do anything about it. The attack hit and the Combusken staggered and fell on the ground. It was quite an attack. "Combusken, come on buddy!" Cade called. The Combusken got up and glared at the Nosepass. "Use Double Kick and knock the Nosepass on its ack!" he called.
The Combusken nodded and moved with blinding spee, hitting the Nosepass in the chest. The Pokemon staggered and fell backwards, falling into a hole. "What?" Roxanne said, "Where did that hole come from?" Cade smirked. "My Eevee dug it, remember?" he said. Roxanne smiled, she remembered now. "Combusken Double Kick the Pokemon," he said. The Combusken brought two powerful kicks down onto the Nosepass. The direct hit plus the type advantage of the Combusken's attack caused the Pokemon to faint.
"Yeah!" Cade said, pumping the air with his fist. Cade tackled is Pokemon and hugged the Combusken. "Good job buddy!" he said, ruffling the creature's head. Cade sent out his Eevee, who hopped onto his trainer's shoulders and climbed onto his head. "You too Eevee! You two were amazing today!" he said.
The two Pokemon blushed slightly. Cade returned his Pokemon and walked up to Roxanne. "That was quite a battle," he said with a smile. "I agree. I present to you the Stone Badge," she said with a smile, holding out the badge to him. Cade smiled and took the badge, placing it into his badge case.
The trainer waved goodbye and left the gym. Cade made his way to the Pokemon Center, handing over his Pokemon to Nurse Joy when he got there. While he waited, Cade fumbled with the Marsh Badge around his neck. "I did it Sabrina," he said, "I got my first Hoenn badge." Eventually, Nurse Joy handed Cade his Pokemon. The trainer thanked her and released his Murkrow, who promptly flew upon his shoulder.
Cade showed his bird his new badge. "I am counting on you to help with my next badge. I heard the second gym is home to a fighting-type master," he said. Murkrow nodded and cawed. Cade chuckled and placed his badge case back into his pack and exited the Pokemon Center. He then started to make his way towards the forest.

"We each can use three pokemon," Lance said. He nodded to his Ralts. It smiled back at him, then turned back to the trainer.
"Okay," he said. He returned his Charmander, then sent out a Poocheyana. "Poocheyana, bite!" he commanded. The black and gray dog charged at Ralts
"Double Team!" Lance said. Ralts nodded, and formed into two. The Poocheyana had trouble discerning which was which. "Confusion!" Lance commanded the real one. The one on the left, held its head as brain waves hit the dark-type pokemon.
Poocheyana shrugged it off, and charged at the real Ralts. It bit the pokemon's orange fin, and sent it flying.
"Oh, no!" Lance said. "Teleport!" he yelled. The Ralts suddenly disappeared. The young wolf looked around, surprised. "Confusion!" Lance commanded. Ralts appeared above Poocheyana. It held its head again, and this time, the Poocheyana felt it. It fell to the ground.
"No, use bite!," the trainer commanded. The Poocheyana jumped up, and bit Ralts' head. It fell to the ground, knocked out.
