Through a Wolf's Eyes
At night, I awake to the howls of my kin.
Their haunting melodies pierce my heart.
They wonder why I'm sleeping in.
They wait for me, so the hunt can start.
I get up and go outside my den.
We start our evening run.
I run alongside my brothers,
Then, we begin our fun.
My brothers and sisters cry out in joy as they join the fray.
We feast until our bellies are full.
We hunt 'til night turns to day,
And end the hunt by killing a bull.
Then, my kin proudly sing,
As they respect my title as king.
