Van downed his drink in one quick swallow, like it was just water. He intended to not waste any time dithering today, but get right to the buisness of finding out just who owned Damien. Stalking him will take long enough. He'd have to be very careful with how he took him out. Be very fast on the trigger. Not even a chance to scream.
"And there's only so many thieves about, even with all the different gangs that hold sway here. I have a few people I can talk to, they might know someone. Are you done there? Or do you want something else?"
He wanted to get on with it all.

She nodded her head slowly and heard everything he said. "Instead of asking around to search for a female that is some mental hospital why don't you let me try to find out from Damien himself?" she raised her eyebrow to him wondering what he would think of her suggestion.
"I think I could pursuade him to tell me, and if not then you can do your little detective work" she waggled her fingers at him as she said that.

Van dug into his pockets for a Lucky and his lighter; he'd resigned himself to the fact that apparently Liana wished to dither about over the remains of her breakfast/lunch. The f** perched delicately on his lips as he struck a flame and held it to the end of the cigarette. The flame was extinquished and the lighter returned to it's home in his pocket.
"What makes you think that it's a girl who owns Damien?...or that she's in a mental hospital?"

Liana smirked and put her finger under his chin looking right at him. "I know it's a girl and that she is in a mental hospital because he had told me personally, hence why he is roaming around and his master or mistress is no where to be found" she told Van as she then moved her finger away from him.
"And don't worry I won't make him aware that I'm snooping because he's going to come to me again probably sooner than later, once he knows what area I'm in he always comes back either in a day or sooner" she commented.

Van was so pleased by the turn of events that he didn’t even mind that Liana was touching him. The gears in his head were turning with all the new possibilities.
“I think he still likes you. Damien, I mean.”

"Hmm well he probably isn't that far away from her" she told him "Because you can tell me to go to a different country without you and I can go as far as you want me to go and you wouldn't feel anything but for us demons it's like this kind of like ping in our head when we're that far of a distance because if the person we are protecting is in danger then we aren't close to even save them and then we're ******** if they get killed cause then it's back in the tricket we go" she pointed down to the watch as she looked at it with almost hatred.
Liana looked away and then smirked "Well I hope he still like me because if not then I probably won't be able to get an answer out of him very easily now will I" she chuckled lightly.

Van dug into his pocket to find his wallet; he wanted to pay for their brunch and get out of there. The day was wasting away while he was chitter-chatting with his new pet.

Liana smiled when he asked if he should be around "No I don't think that would be wise if you were nearby. If you want me to do anything nessesary then it could get kind of graphic" she told him smirking on her lips "Or it could get dangerous if the topic went sour and a ice and fire fight if never something that doesn't cause incredibly destruction" she told him.
"I know this because me and him have fought many times" she told him with a nod.

Van dropped a few crumpled bills onto the table, and tucked his wallet away again.

She sighed and place her hand to her forehead as she shook her head "I told you before that it is not easy for one of us to be killed" she said. "And all of us can be killed only a certain way and each of us are different" she added.
Liana the smiled as she stood "Fortunately Damien doesn't know what they are so he can't use that against me"

Van’s curiosity was getting the best of him now, despite that quiet voice of caution mumbling and bumbling along in his head. Quiet, you. This is interesting. She is interesting. Van was starting to really like this demon girl of his.

She stood close to him "Hmm curious aren't you" she said and smiled staying in her spot wondering if how close she was to him was making him uncomfortable "Well I can't tell you here in front of all these people, where anyone could be watching" she said and put a finger to her lips as her voice was quiet.
"How about the comfort of your humble abode at least I can tell if there is someone else there with us or not" she said as she moved a little away from him smirking. With the small space she can sense if someone is nearby but here with the people in the resturant there was to many to tell.
(Cool sorry I haven't been posting for steering I'm kind of stuck on what to do)

Van tried not to notice just how close Liana was standing to him. He needed to work on his people skills, even if it was in the Little O, where people got killed for being personable. Still, if he was ever going to get out into the real world, jumping at shadows whenever they got within two meters of him was more of a hindrance then a boon, by anyone’s standards.
“Lead the way, Liana. I trust in your judgement.“

She smirked and nodded "All right" she said and walked around him and headed out of the resturant to head back to the apartment.
Once the guard opened the door to get to Van's room she glanced over at the guard and saluted to him before grinning and heading up the stairs. Lia stopped at his door and leaned against the wall waiting for him to unlock it.
(Yeah that sounds good I'm kind of having a writers funk can't think of anything to do lol)

Ivan Van Veen Van let them both into the apartment and locked the door behind Liana when she walked inside. He didn’t like the idea of just anyone being able to enter into his private home, whether he was there or not. He ground out his f** in an overflowing ashtray, leaving the butt there to smolder with the other, colder ones.
“Well? How is it that you can die? Or is it still not safe enough? Should we go into the bathroom and whisper with the shower running?”
Van thought it was a bit strange that they had to walk all the way back to his apartment in order to say one little thing.
