I just got lvl 30, all ive trained up is a war 30 and mnk 20, but now i dont know what my new lvl 30 job should be, i thought of getting a sam, because they dont cost as much as ninja, and i was thinking of getting sum because they summon cool stuff, but the quest for that sounds long... So what should i get?

if you want to be a summoner most people want you to have a white mage sub... so if you want smn level up white mage

as for samurai your practically ready as you already have warrior leveled to 30 but you can level thf as a sub or sam in some cases also

both can be pretty long but smn can take you days to weeks too complete and will take long because at your level you can party with others to get the summons so you have to level to 20(don't worry to much because from 1-20 people aren't going to be yelling as you and i also think a few levels later until 25 too)at level 20 you can solo the avatr fights but fighting alone can be really costly sometimes(ramuh out of the solo fights from my experience took me the longest to get even though he was one of my first avatar quest to get)

also at ths level trying to get diabolos or fenrir is close to 0 percent as you need to get all the whispers and for diabolos you got to do the painstaking CoP quest

as for samurai if you can get a high level to help you it will probably only take like 4-5 hours about
